I studied at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology, the best engineering college in Kanyakumari district. I chose the course because I was interested in mechanical engineering. Faculties are very helpful and they are friendly after 1st year of engineering. They would help you with everything you need to do in projects and all. The faculty-student ratio of RCET, the best engineering college in Kanyakumari district is pretty good during the project a team of 4 members is assigned with a guide and a co-guide. All the faculties are MTech and most of them have a PhD. The popular spokesman, Gustavo de Arístegui, said that the decision of the former US civilian administrator in Iraq until last week’s handover ceremony, Paul Bremer, to dismantle the Iraqi armed forces after the fall of Saddam Hussein’s regime is to blame for much of the insecurity situation in Iraq, and argued that at least 95% of Iraqi soldiers should have remained in their posts after the arrival of the Americans, withdrawing only those with criminal records or those who had a special connection with the previous regimen.

“90% of the security problems of the Sunni triangle come from the dissolution of the Army,” insisted Arístegui, who added that to these strategic errors is added having supported Ahmed Chalabi, the Iraqi leader who until recently has been the best friend of the Pentagon in Iraq and on whom the suspicion is now hovering that relevant information may have passed to Iran. “Now they [the US government] realize that he is public enemy number one. They could have realized this before,” he said.

Being an average student, not so brilliant like others, I thought it was a goal that’s far away from being achieved. It was a memorable time for me at the college. Friends, hostel, fests, campus life etc. were enjoyed at its peak. Staffs apart from the study time were very friendly and jovial. They did not follow a military obedience culture, rather they were friendly and polite. They were very persistent and willing to make one understand their fault in a much friendly manner.

The final year was a great year to be remembered. We greeted the freshers and had a eventful welcome ceremony for the freshers. Spectra 2019 was also a memorable event were I along with my friends demonstrated each of our mini projects with real life application of it, along with the support of our lecturers in a grand way. This made us realise how theory can be made usefull in our daily life.
