AAAAAAAH, we finally got a page done, and just in time for Christmas, as well! I’m crossing my fingers page 29 will soon follow, as well, but as I’ve mentioned earlier, @jammedina17 will have some surprise drawings to show off, later on.

We could’ve uploaded this earlier, but we weren’t happy with the original bubbles and text, so Jam made some new, more professional-looking bubbles for the page (thank God we had a .psd file instead of the usual .png file!!), and I took up adding in the text, and while I was adding them in, something just clicked in my head where I thought, “I need to rewrite some of the text, especially for the bottom panel”, but I think the end result was well-worth the extra wait!

Secret Passage

(Season 3 Spoilers)

Wonder who wanted Marco to go to the Bloodmoon Ball, and why? We really don’t know what bloodmoon does to those that it binds together so the motive is unclear (perhaps it has to do with the prophecy room at St. O’s and what happened in today’s episode?). It would have to be someone that knew of the secret passage besides Eclipsa, but we don’t know much about her so this is all speculation.

Glossaryck is the strongest suspect with his roundabout way of doing things and he appears to know about the passage. But he’s only been roundabout with teaching Star because it’s the best way for her to learn and the “moon of lovers” scene doesn’t appear to suit that. There is Monster Hubby but we know next to nothing about him, let alone if he is still alive. Heinous but she doesn’t appear to know Marco and Star before they invaded her school (BmB takes place before they rescue Pony Head). And Toffee seeing as he has knowledge of the wand, the whispering spell, and spade marks on his shoulder pads; leading to a possible connection to the Butterfly family. But how would this have played into his plan even if Star never went into the wand? So many questions there, and for all we know Eclipsa has become a symbol to the monsters and that’s why Toffee had her mark.

I’ve seen the theories that the voice was Monster Arm but I think we were shown that secret path behind that painting for a reason. It could also be someone we’ve never meet before. Either way we may finally learn more about that moon and what it did to Star and Marco (and maybe Tom, it did focus on him after he pushed Marco away).

Despite all the Tomstar stuff I’ve been drawing lately this is my main ship.

More for the SaintOlga au (au created by @cupilart). I wanted to draw Tom reuniting with his parents after seeing cupliart’s comics of Marco and Star reuniting with their families.

Marco has a scar covering his mole, Star has scars where her mewberty wings were, so I figured Tom would have a scar where his shock collar was (scarred through a combination of repeated shock, malnutrition, and an already overtaxed healing system).

This was started before seeing Dave’s hight compared to his son.

Little late but for halloween I handed out candy in my object head Bill Cipher cosplay. It was amusing how the kids that didn’t know who I am yelled “illuminate confirmed”, most of the adults wowed at the mask (a couple even wanted a picture).

And for the people who knew who I was I greeted them with a “well, wellwellwellwellwellwell” and said bye with “reality is an illusion, the earth is a hologram, buy gold, byyyyyyye.” It was a fun time.
