Come Out to Play | | Oliver, Dallas & Ash
"You called?" said a male voice. Ash looked up to see who it was, only to find a blonde blur swooping down into him. He smacked into the hard marble floor, the gun knocked out of his hands.
Ash pulled himself upright. He was winded and bruised, maybe even cracked a rib or two. But the Dark Ones were already healing him.
He dares to touch you! Insolent fool! We will crush him! Eat his pure soul!
“Leave these people alone,” demanded the blonde hero.
"But we’re not alone," replied Ash. Shadows thickened and started to surround the hero. "Dark Ones, please accept this hero as your offering." The Dark Ones cackled and laughed, their semi transparent forms stirring to leap for the hero.
The shadows surrounded Oliver, they moved faster than he realised. He tried to run away, but they were coming from all sides. There was only one way left to go: up. He bend through his knees, getting ready to descend. The first shadow approached him, and touched him by the arm. For a moment he felt a cold, sad shiver going down his spine. It was like he was touched by a nightmare.
But the second didn’t take long because before the shadow could do more, he flew into the air, flying high above in the grand hall of the bank. The people were looking at him, the shadows and the masked man. I really should have thought this through.
He had no idea what his next step would be, but he was anxiously watching the shadows. Oliver wondered how they’d react, but he hoped that he was at least somewhat safer in the air than on the ground.
“What do you want?” Oliver yelled
The bank's gala event was quite in swing when Dallas had arrived; given a special summons as he invested a large amount of money into his Library and did the finances and legal work through the bank. So he arrived early enough to witness the beginning what seemed to be an all out attack on supers from another super. He wasn't planning on help until the other Super threw himself at the masked super. That's when he knew he had to help keep the balance. Only issue was he hadn't a mask, as he never used his powers outside of his house.
He knew he had to plan his starting attack well, to he maybe a point to discreetly start getting to a place where he could see the masked man. Once he had a visual of him and the other super ask what he wanted, Dallas took his big shot; pushing the table closest to the man at him with a quick speed. From there he pushed himself up from the floor. "Whatever it is, he's not getting it." He announces, with some gusto to the words as he dashed from his place behind the table and up to where the other good Super was. On his way up, he'd tossed what looked to be a small sack of marble into the air, but that was until they continued floating and were shot at the speed of a bullet to the shadows attacking the good super.
"I'm sorry sir, but you just don't negotiate with terrorists." He said firmly to the boy as he looked down to the recovering man whom had been knocked over.
