*From the ground of the forest, standing next to the destroyed wreck of the Federation gunship, she saw Alaina’s ship fly off into the sky before it turned in a different direction than the other two had*
Ah, dammit, there was another one. I can’t track it with my current setup...
*Runs to the wrecked gunship, jumping through fire to reach the apparently destroyed computer system. She puts her hand over the charred piece of equipment and her eyes change to a bright blue-green and she starts mumbling, staring up at the direction the ship had gone. After a few minutes she pulls a piece of paper and a pen out of nowhere and begins writing stuff down at a ridiculous speed. Finally she stops, steps away from the computer, and hands the paper to Damara*
...Are these... coordinates? What the hell, how can you do that...?
I dunno, I just sorta do it. Anyway, there was something else inside that computer, but I didn’t really understand it so I’ll let you look.
*Slowly stepping around destroyed ship parts and fire to get to it*
How? Its totally destroyed.
*Reaches one hand to the computer, and the other toward Damara’s forehead. Her eyes change again*
*Suddenly finds herself enveloped in the digital world. Its not that she ‘sees’ the world around her, but rather that she ‘understands’ it. Its as if data in it’s purest form of language simply begins pouring into her head. Very quickly, it becomes to much and she begins to be overwhelmed by it. It begins to hurt, and the pain grows intense, until finally she starts to scream out loud*
I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you!
There was... so much... it was too... how..? How to you stand it...? I barely survived five seconds in whatever that was... But you stay in there for minutes at a time and seem fine... how...?
Well... it doesn’t hurt me. Nevermind that, what did you learn?
