“yeah…i can’t imagine! it’s weird enough showing up a few states over but another planet? that’s gotta be something to get used to.” paige was trying not to freak out in all honesty. the thought of what was actually going on was a little weird even for her. “the dark side…yeah i can relate to that a little actually. definitely different though.” paige glanced around before she leaned in a little closer to the brunette. “is it a little bit like witchcraft? because it sounds like it a little bit!” she beamed. “i can imagine it would be! i haven’t done anything like saving the galaxy but saving the world. nothing new!” 

“especially a planet that i’ve never heard of which means that it’s not in my galaxy. so i don’t think there is even a way for me to get home if i can get out of this town. not unless there is some magical hyperspace travel no one wants to talk about.” rey joked. “i don’t know what witchcraft is. but it’s kind of similar to magic as most people will see it. there is a force that surrounds everyone and everything and force sensitive people can manipulate it to make stuff move, control minds, see the future, many different things.” she explained to paige.

"i'm starting to think the same thing if i'm being honest." she admitted to luna. "i don't know if there is any help that could help me unless you know someone who has information about this town or anything." lily added. a part of lily never wanted to give up her search since maybe it would reunite her with her family, but at the same time she knew that if she did find out anything it wouldn't help her get out of this place. “i’m lily by the way.” she introduced.

“ i literally have no fucking idea. ” but, to maddy, this place is fair preferable to where she was before, not having to face her traitor of a best friend or jerk of an ex-boyfriend at every turn, and being able to finally for once just be able to focus on herself without having to put on an unbothered façade. “ all i know is i’ve never heard of it before i ended up here, on a map or anything. ”

"i never heard of this place, been to america, or should be alive. and well it doesn't seem like anyone else here should be dead. so i'm very curious about everything." lily knew that she should be happy to be alive and everything. but the which would not be happy till she found her husband and son and knew that they were all safe.

veronica’s sense of depth was warped here. her story was fucked. but she didn’t remember that. she only knew about what she saw in dreams. the dark haired female raised her brow as she looked at the other woman, “i’m not entirely sure why that is. i can’t think of any reason why there wouldn’t be books on the history of this place.. it makes no sense.”

"that's what makes me more curious about this place." the witch replied to veronica. "i don't remember ever coming here and well... the only way for me to be here is kind of impossible. so i need to find out stuff about this place. and no matter who i seem to ask no one knows who is in charge of the town or what this place is. and from my research there seems to be no history of this place. and i've never heard of a town without one history book. even if it's just the most mundane information."

Tim was usually a pretty polite person. Sometimes he just happened to be in a pretty weird mood, but that was a given for someone who didn’t really sleep a lot. Still, if he wanted to work his way up from making coffee his whole life, it required a lot of studying. Not that his brain really absorbed any of it when he was struggling to read and keep up with a conversation. “I’ll be totally honest.” Tim glanced up from the book in front of him. “I haven’t caught the last three minutes of what you said.”

“is everything okay? you seem a bit distracted.” mara stated to tim. mara still couldn’t believe how much she changed as a person, actually caring about how others were doing. she was no longer the emotionless assassin she use to be whose biggest desire was to become the emperor’s apprentice. but finally going to the light side of the force helped her change. “and don’t worry, i was more rambling than saying anything useful.”

“ i get it. i suppose it’s a lot less rewarding to no longer be bringing about positive changes in the world after some so tragic. ” for him, no work he could possibly do here would be as rewarding or perfect for him as the position of auror he’d earned himself back home, and that’s the main problem he’s facing. “ well then you have it. good luck. ” he laughs also.

"yeah, it's not like here there is a prejudice against muggle-borns or others like back home that i was helping to bring change to. i just feel like nothing i can do here will make a lasting impression." she explained to harry.

“ professor ? ” harry raises an eyebrow at the woman, unsure if it really is professor mcgonagall or simply someone that he’s mistaking for her, but judging by the words that she’s saying to him, it has to be her, and so  he figures there’s no harm in asking. “ professor mcgonagall ? ”

“potter is that you?” minerva was not expecting to run into one of her former students who was now her own age. she didn’t understand that magic of this place that made her much younger than she was.

“yeah…that can kind of suck, huh. i mean just being thrown into something that you don’t really get? it blows big time.” okay so maybe she was a little pessimistic. she hadn’t asked to be born a witch but she’d gotten two pretty good sisters out of the deal. paige wouldn’t admit it to strangers, but she was worried about them back home. “jedi order?” her eyebrows raised slightly. “i mean that sounds pretty cool.” she was human. that would explain a lot. after the little slip up she’d made about dating a demon, paige liked to think she could feel out when something in front of her wasn’t exactly…normal. “seriously? that’s pretty interesting! i mean not everything on earth that looks human is exactly human. it’s kind of comforting to think there’s humans in other places. kind of. are you friends with aliens??”

"it really is. and i mean i've learned how to adapt better to new situations. but this, just seems so foreign to me." rey explained to paige. "the jedi order where i am from is seen as an ancient religion. and well when my masters died i became the last jedi. and like any last jedi it's my job to find other force sensitive people and teach them to use the force and decide the rules and how the new jedi order will be run. and well hope to not lose any student to the dark side of the force." she replied. "i am friends with quite a few. we all fought a war to restore peace to the galaxy and let me just tell you, that is great bonding opportunities."

   all mj musters is a quick nod of her head, along with a mental note of straying away from ever calling the other baby. not what she thinks she ever would. not that she’s sure they’re going to cross paths once again. still, as the other continues on she can’t help but feel like her head is spinning.  ❛  okay, okay, tough crowd.  ❜  proclamation followed by her hands raised up in front of her, a mock surrender. sure, mj knew she was smartass but she never knew it was so bad someone had to make up stories to get her to shut up. she felt a part of her question the possibility of it all being true. it could be, but something told her she was better of believing it wasn’t.  ❛  fine, we’re sticking with g — ❜  what was it again ? weird name. weird name with a g. not the child. not baby. greg ? no, that wasn’t right. she stalls, busies herself with reaching for empty mugs left behind by customers who had left. gr . . gr . .  ❛  grogu !  ❜  she announces with a snap of her fingers. pleased with herself, she piles the cups in the sink with a soft smirk on her face.  ❛  grogu. nothing else, strictly grogu.  ❜

“well she more did it because she asked me out and i said no, since i don’t really plan on ever dating. and well she thought calling me pet names and asking like we were going out that i would agree to date her.” while grogu was attached to the mandolorian, he was a bit worried to get attached to anyone else, wanting to someday complete his jedi training. and so he did his best to stay away from relationships that got too close, he had friends, but he wouldn’t consider anyone here to be his best friend. “i know it’s weird, don’t worry. i promise it gets easier to remember, not any less weird, but easier.” he chuckled softly. if she knew the truth about who he was and where he was from it probably wouldn’t seem as weird. before coming to this town he was a little green alien with large ears, but this place made him human.

“that is a wonderful question, actually.” sam entertained the hypothetical for a second. “i don’t really trust anyone who could refuse a free drink when it’s offered, you know?” he laughed. it definitely wasn’t true, but he enjoyed messing with people a little bit. “so. what will you be having then?”

“the only people i’d trust are those who don’t drink. but i find it a bore to not drink and have fun.” the jedi stated to sam. “this may seem basic, but i’ll take a cosmpolitian.” she replied to him with a kind smile.

Pulling another book from the shelf, Steve turned it over to read the back as a chuckle vibrates his chest. “You know, I have no idea.” He’s wondered about this town himself, how he’s never heard of it until all the sudden he’s here. “Maybe the town doesn’t want people to know about it.” It wasn’t totally far fetched, not given their current predicament.

“but doesn’t that make you a bit more curious about this place? like if there is something they have to hide, then maybe there is something more sinister behind why we are all here.” lily always questioned things, not exactly believing something because people told her to.

“ i’ll be honest, i’m not so sure yet. ” poe admits with a shrug of his shoulders. he’s still yet to experience the things that people here claim to be fun, far more content to be behind the controls of a spacecraft than sitting still in a theatre for over an hour. “ i agree. there are other things i’d rather be doing, i’m not really one for sitting still. ” 

“like i don’t understand how people here don’t get extremely bored. most people don’t fly spacecrafts around the universe and are content with just staying on the same planet their whole life. i don’t know how that is possible.”

“really?” she asked, ariana was happy to know that she wasn’t alone in what she was feeling. “there was something dangerous inside of me, i didn’t want to hurt anyone, but because of it, i was locked away for my protection and others. and here, that darkness is for the most part dormiant and when it’s not, it’s controllable.”

sam spent a lot more time at storm that he would ever really admit. sometimes he was just there for a drink. other times, the people sitting next to him would leave with a few less dollars in their pockets. once a thief, always a thief. “how about a round?” sam turned to the person sitting next to him with what was supposed to be a cheerful smile plastered on his face.

sariss never expected to be stuck on a planet like this. one that the jedi and the sith weren’t running around fighting one another. it was kind of nice to not have to protect herself all the time, but the blonde was always ready for a fight if she needs one. “how can i say no to a drink?”
