“Did you just tell me not to worry? It’s like you do not even know me.” Evie raised an eyebrow at her twin. “I know he wouldn’t, but I know I can protect myself. Desmond?”

“Did you just tell me not to worry? It’s like you do not even know me.” Evie raised an eyebrow at her twin. “I know he wouldn’t, but I know I can protect myself. Desmond?”
"It's quite cute, though. I like hearing it." Sensing that he still wasn't over hearing about their near-deaths, Evie kept running her hand through his hair. Then, she leaned forward and kissed him gently.
Okay but if you met my brothers, i'd still be your favorite right? Remember, they tried to kill me at least once.
“Yes, of course! Wait...They did what?”
Is Jaina your favorite Jedi? - Not Jaina, don't be silly
“The only one I know, so by default yes.”
“You do that a lot, I had to learn sooner or later.” Evie teased him a bit. She sensed that he didn’t like hearing about their near deaths so she ran a hand through his hair. “Well, I have to say the same. But, that’s all in the past now.”
Evie stopped walking when the blonde spoke to her. A soft smile appeared on the Assassin’s face as she sat down in the seat across from Clarke. “My name is Evie.”
“Hey, I only say the truth!” Evie countered with a laugh.
“Mm, it is right.” Over time, Evie has been more and more able to understand Arno’s French. Not enough to speak it, but enough to know what he’s saying. “We wanted to take different routes to get to where we wanted to be, both of us very nearly died in the end. But, that’s all in the past now. We’re as close as ever now.”
“That wouldn’t be a difficult task to achieve.” Evie teased her a bit, knowing full well that Jaina wasn’t much smaller than her.
“He could possibly be here.” Evie confirmed. She grinned at her as she rambled, it was endearing. “I have been here since March of this year.”
“Indeed, it was. Queen Victoria, a surprisingly nice woman.” Evie shrugged. She let her head drop down on the couch and grimaced at the memories of their falling out. “Mm, though falling out would be a tame way of putting it. We nearly went our separate ways.”
Evie listened as he spoke, one of her hands eventually found its way to his hair as a way to comfort him. The assassin then smiled at his compliments of her. “Nineteenth century England was quite the spectacle, to be quite honest. In these times, people are calling it the Victorian Era, the Industrial Revolution. It was fine, with it’s few flaws as every country has. Then, Crawford Starrick and his gangs of Templars and Blighters took over London, most of it anyway. They were just missing seats in Parliament and the assassination of the Queen.” She explained, a scowl on her face as she recounted the memories of Starrick and his gangs.
“Oppression ran rampant like a plague quickly, it was awful. Our Mentor told Jacob and I to steer clear of London, to not get involved in the fight. Of course, we were too stubborn to listen so we went anyway. We swore to take down Starrick, we weren’t on the best of terms during most of it, until it came time to kill Starrick. He had his Rooks, I had the help of a man named Henry Green. In the end, Jacob and I made up and finally took down Starrick, liberating London at last.”
Against all odds, Evie Frye was relaxing. She sat contently on the couch with her legs draped over her boyfriend’s lap as they tried to make sense of television programs. After a while, she grew bored of the nonsense and turned it off.
“Arno, would you tell me more about your time period? What it was like living during the French Revolution, being an Assassin in that period.”
@parisian-assassin
“Mm, it is like this in my hometown as well. It’s quite sad, I would love to be able to see more of the stars.”
“Evan Hansen? I have never met anyone with that name, I’m sorry to say.” Evie told her. “But that doesn’t mean he is not here.”
“Would you? That would be great.” Evie exclaimed. “How are the twins, by the way?”
