Some concept sketches I did for the Narratology project last year. I had fun experimenting with composition, lighting and atmosphere in these. Also incorporating some of the character-concepts my project mates made.

As you may have noticed, I loved that one brush I used in Photoshop :P

Some quick color-keys I did for the previously posted background designs. Some of the colors used here inspired the color usage for the end product.

Color-keys I did for last year’s project. Made to determine the color scheme we were gonna use in the backgrounds of a small bumper/leader for the children-programming of the Dutch Film Festival. The bottom two images are the eventual backgrounds made by @daan-lucas.

Some of the background designs I did for a school-project last year. @kaninchin and @daan-lucas were responsible for the lay-out of the backgrounds. After that I made the final pieces you see here. I had lots of fun developing the overall feel and style of the backgrounds and working with such a big team!
