Honestly I’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who isn’t absolutely in love with this dude! And his body of work. From his movies, his wrestling career, to his merchandise! The guy is an anomaly. I can only hope to possess a percentage of the greatness this man exudes on a daily basis. Artistically of course LOL. But yeah! It’s hard whenever we loose someone we care about. And losing someone who represented a powerful, and positive figure in the black community during these times is more devastating than I could put into words. And to find out he was fighting cancer without even a hint in all the times he played black panther is nothing short of super human. Not to mention the the other movies he stared in, and the lives he touched outside of acting. He made the absolute most of the time he had. A TRUE inspiration. And his loss hits home. My love goes out to his family. Let’s talk about hating LGBT people. If you have an issue with someone being gay, You should take a moment and ask yourself why. Because it boils down to 1 of 4 Major issues. The first being they make you uncomfortable because in your mind they’re thinking of YOU in a sexual way. If this is you, LISTEN. You’re NOT gods gift to all creatures. There exist members of either sex that would never sleep with you. Just because they’re sitting at your table, doesn’t mean you’re also on the menu. And EVEN IF you were to be approached. Respectfully tell them you’re not interested. If they’re not a trash human being they’ll return the respect, except your answer for what it is and move on (See what I did there?). On to issue 2! You think being gay is “unnatural”. This is FALSE. Throughout the entire animal kingdom, homosexuality is a natural occurrence. Found in but not limited to: dogs, cats, sheep, lions, birds, fish, insects, And of course human beings! And let’s say it’s a choice. How is it any of your business? And why do you think you should have a say in who they choose to be with? Third issue. You’re having an internal debate regarding your own sexuality, and the idea of being attracted to someone of the same sex scares you. Instead of embracing your feelings you bury them under layers of hate and denying they exist. If this is you, your fear comes from knowing the hate you’d face if it were true. So why spread that hate? If you were gay, nothing about you would change, other than who you’d flirt with. THE WORST reason to have issues is thee “it’s how I was raised” argument. Which is an admission of not being able to think for yourself. You’re hating on Auto pilot. That’s incredibly dumb. Would you let someone else decide what your favorite flavor of ice cream is? The REAL ISSUE with the LBGTQ community is YOU. Because who they choose to sleep with some how triggers your arrogance, ignorance, and insecurities. You fail to realize you’re the villain. Being gay, lesbian, trans, queer, non-binary etc... hurts nothing, other than your FUCKING PRIDE. The BLM movement is all about shining light on injustice in America, I honestly cant think of a greater injustice than what the native Americans had to endure. and still do. Understand the natives weren’t just killed for this land. They were purged. The women were Raped, their babies fed to dogs in front of them! The old were tossed into holes and burned. the men had their hands and legs cut off. Sometimes just to test the sharpness of their weapons. Oh and fun fact, The colonizers actually started “scalping”! Settlers were offered large sums of money for killing as many natives as possible. the scalps served as both proof, and bragging rights. The natives later adopted this technique and became known as SAVAGE ANIMALS. Burning natives alive was VERY popular. Oh and the death toll? Well let’s talk scale. The Armenian genocide left about 1.5 million dead. The Jewish genocide left 6 million dead. These numbers are horrific. But only a small percentage compared to the over 150 million natives killed in unthinkable ways. And It didn’t end with killing and torcher. There’s a term, “Kill the Indian. Save the man” witch was basically Cultural castration. Kids were forcefully taken from their parents and placed with white families. Their hair cut, belongings burned, and were taught in schools their culture was wrong. further stripping them of their language. After years if this, some couldn’t communicate with their own tribes. And still the killing continues. native women were sterilized in the 70’s. Hundreds of native girls have gone missing and continue to go missing today! I don’t have enough room to speak on the broken treaties, Mount Rushmore, the silenced protest, or how Covid is affecting them. Spoiler alert, it’s not good. Or how dressing like them for halloween is basically black face. Simply saying “we took this land” doesn’t cut it. We’ve paved these streets over their dead.
