I'm crying you guys Alex literally describes Magnus as having a "friendly and sunshiney" vibe in canon.

He is a sarcastic little shit but he's also arguably the most sensitive, sunshiney, positive person in all the Riordanverse.

Also, he doesn't really hate his life anymore??? He did when he was homeless, he struggled a lot at the beginning of the first book, but now he runs a homeless youth shelter, something he's crazy passionate about. He has good friends, he's dating his crush, he's helping people just like he wanted... he's thriving as much as you can after dying tbh.
