basically, sapnap’s confirmed purposeful absence from the red banquet and the clear sketchiness of the soup are connected and draw on the greek myth of tantalus, who killed his son and served his body to the gods without telling them and while acting as if it was an innocent dinner. dsmp goes off of greek myths a lot and the egg has a weird thing for cannibalism. (see: sam getting trapped in the egg). soupnap.
