Bo leaned back from Sterling’s wrist, raising an unimpressed eyebrow at him, “I could be much rougher, you know. Don’t move, and don’t be a pussy.”
“I could just let you wither up and die if I wanted to,” he pouted, feeling slightly queasy as he saw the two perfect circles on his wrist well up with blood already trying to scab.
“But you don’t want to. We made a deal, so let me finish or -”
“Or you’ll kill me, which you would never do.”
“Nope. And you’d never let me die, so if you’re done now...”
Swallowing thickly, Sterling turned his head away from the sight in front of him, sighing dramatically, “I still don’t know how you got me into this situation in the first place.”
India and Sterling decide to go camping. Sterling reads the map upside down and they both become terribly lost.
“Sterling - are you sure we’re going in the right direction?”
They were stuck in a small car, and the AC had broken down about five minutes into their journey. To say that they were a little grumpy was putting it lightly.
“I don’t know what else to tell you! I know how to read a map!” He spluttered desperately, unsure of what to do at this point.
They were so lost it was depressing, and Sterling had felt like crying for about ten minutes now. Neither of them had had cell service for almost a half hour now, and at this point it felt like they should just call it quits.
“Fine, fine, let me just take a look.”
“India! You’re driving! Don’t be ridiculous!” Pulling the map closer to his face, Sterling got a good glimpse of the compass in the top left corner, which - “Oh my god.”
“What? Sterling, what?!”
“We... may have been driving the wrong way. For three hours now.”
Automatically hunkering in on himself, Sterling prepared himself for a lot of yelling followed by the silent treatment, so he was surprised when he heard nothing but laughter.
“Okay, okay, map’s the right way now, yeah?”
“Uh... yes.”
“Okay. Figure out where we are and when you get cell service again, just call the camp site and let them know that we’re running late but we still want our location for the weekend. Sound good?”
A fond smile spread across Sterling’s face at India’s words, sighing lightly in relief before nodding, “Okay. Sounds good.”
