Billy was a quiet kid, didn’t have many friends and he was always by himself during lunch. One day a kid came up to him and started a conversation. Billy was too afraid to respond so he just put his head down. The kid looked confused and walked away. Billy silently shed a tear. Later that night he was watching television and all of sudden BREAKING NEWS. The news reporter came on talking about a comet passing by in an hour and everyone in his town would be able to see it. So Billy got excited, he knew what he was in for. As the hour passed, many people stood outside their homes waiting for the comet to pass. All of a sudden he hears a noise down the street, the sound of someone crying for help. He goes to check it out and noticed an elderly lady on the ground crying. She says she has just been robbed and the thief stole her belongings. Billy looked upset and helped her get up. He walked her to her home and said “thank you Billy, I can’t believe you chose to help me unlike the others around who only wanted to see the comet passed by”. Billy looked confused and looked around, noticed that no one was outside anymore. He quickly left the elder woman and ran home, turned on the news channel. The reporter said it was a once in a decade event and hope everyone took the chance to see it. Billy started crying. This was his one chance to reverse the wish he had made when he was seven years old. He had wished that he would never have to fart again. And after all these years he hasn’t, he was never able to release his farts. This led him to feeling uncomfortable around others. He just laid down crying on his bed for the rest of that night. Poor Billy.
