Besides updating you on my progress training videos are actually beneficial for continued progress. As I review this video I understand why this 275 felt like 500+. I committed a few errors here starting with being too lazy to put the rack at right height so I’m doing a calf raise to begin with, my steps are off, bar is to high on my back, glutes aren’t engaged, and descent is slow to name a few! I was squatting high bar due to my limited mobility with the shoulder and the rest I will attribute to my time away from the bar. I was starting to think my powerlifting career was over on the ride home. I had decided it was time to switch to bodybuilding if 275 was going to be feeling like this in my near future. Lol 😂 Thank goodness for video! Yeps compliments of the man, the myth, da legend @limer99. Surprisingly my work with 275 isn’t exciting him but I’m pumped to have it on my back again!! #babysteps Breaking in his garage gym looking forward to coming back over for some deads and heavy squats!
