I’ve largely avoided Eurovision news for awhile now for obvious reasons but I just came across Finland’s entry for 2026 and holy shit I think you guys have a winner
Me when DWTS Con was announced: If this isn’t the wildest money making attempt I’ve ever seen
Me seeing Elaine, Rashad, and Sharna in the guest lineup: now hang on a minute…
So I found out one of my friends has cancer and may not survive the year just days before the James Van Der Beek news, how is everyone else’s week going
I’ve Figured it Out
The recipe for what makes me latch onto a Dancing With the Stars contestant each season
They come out of the gate during premier night with TONS of personality and decent dance potential, really applying themselves to grow exponentially over the course of the season despite usually having a dance mishap at one point only for their effort not to quite pay off in the end
Except for the one time it did
Remembered this post and had to add another one to the top collection of photos:
Eurovision Fact #1216:
The Netherlands, Ireland, Slovenia, and Spain have officially withdrawn from the Eurovision Song Contest. This is in the wake of Israel's participation being confirmed for the 2026 contest. All of the nations believe that allowing Israel to compete is unjust, and have cited this as their reason for leaving the competition.
AVROTROS, RTÉ, and RTVE have also said they will not be broadcasting the competition.
Additionally, according to RTVSLO, a vote to discuss Israel's participation never occurred, despite Spain, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Turkey, Algeria, Iceland, and Slovenia asking for one.

When your top artist hasn’t even released new music in 2+ years and still nothing can topple them
Genuinely I don’t think my top 5 Album wrapped could have been gayer (affectionate)
It’s only been a week and I already miss seeing them dance together 😔
What do you MEAN two of the entries for Melodifestivalen 2026 include the winner of the only American Song Contest ever (2022) and the winner of Melodifestivalen 2014 who is the only Swedish artist I follow on social media
I’m glad George’s confidence has grown over the season but there’s no way that Salsa was on the same level as Karen’s Paso
Alex & Johannes - Blackpool Week - Couple's Choice
I loved the very theatrical nature of Alex’s Couples Choice but it did feel like she was noticeably looking towards Johannes for timing during much of it which is unusual for her
Alex’s pre-dance package with her husband was genuinely the sweetest thing I have ever seen 🥹
I think I would’ve liked that Argentine Tango better without the extra dancers because when Balvinder and Julian were in hold for some proper Argentine it was really quite good
Everyone else just felt like a distraction
