Don't
When she finally made it home, the first thing Jordan did was take a long, hot bath and just relaxed. It was nice to have some alone time, but it would have been better if Brittany was there and they were in their fort rather than just her taking a bath. Changing into a pair of her favorite pjs, she crawled into bed with a book and that was exactly where she was a few hours later. She tried to go to bed, but it just wasn’t happening so the book was her company.
A buzz coming from her phone startled her out of her reading and Jordan furrowed her brows, unsure of who could be texting her this late. Seeing Brittany’s name pop up, she almost ignored it, before rolling her eyes with herself knowing she wouldn’t be able to read again or sleep if she did. Just because she was a little upset, didn’t mean she could just ignore Brittany. Especially when her twin was as drunk as she appeared through text.
I’ll be there in ten Britt. Stay inside and stick around with the girls okay? Please be safe. As soon as she sent it, Jordan was changing back into her clothes from before and making her way to the jocks party. Thankfully, they used to be friends before high school so she knew exactly where to go and that it didn’t take long. Pulling up to the party, she parked on the curb and got out, sending her twin a text as she did so while heading near the door. Here, B. Where are you? Can you come outside? I’m on the front porch.
"Yay," Brittany giggled to herself when she saw Jordan was coming. She teetered around the party for a little while longer, flirting and sitting on boys laps, but when she got Jordan's text she jumped up and slipped outside to meet her sister. Immediately, she threw her arms around Jordan's neck and pulled her in for a drunk hug, squeezing her tightly. "I'm so sorry I ditched you, Jords. Pretty please forgive me?"
Brittany pulled away with a slight pout, looking at her sister. She felt better already now that she was around her, but she was still unsteady on her feet. From the cracked door, the sound of Brittany's favorite song drifted to her and she gasped, biting her lip and looking torn. "This is like, my favorite song ever," she explained, jumping up on her heels. "Let's go dance to it, then go home." Brittany grabbed her sister's hand and gave her puppy dog eyes with a bright smile.
