Today I finally got my tattoo for my girl, my Rio. It’s been over a year since you closed your eyes and left me with this gaping void inside me. It’s still there. I miss you every second, of every single day. To some you may have been just a “dog” but to me, you were my companion, my comfort, my best friend, my source of safety and happiness.
