Danny's cheek tingled where Ezra kissed him and he wanted nothing more than to keep him there. He knew what Malachi was capable of and feared for the younger man. He knew he had to go back even if if was temporary. "I will try my best but I want to keep you safe as well. There is something about you, Ezra" he says as he reaches out to caress his cheek. "Can you stay a little longer, beautiful kitten? I am not ready to let you go yet. Perhaps somewhere just the two of us for a while?" He asks.

"I know someone who could erase it from your mind but I fear that will cause more harm than good. I see your dilemma though because if you go back empty handed he will be angry, if you stay he will be angry. He says with a sigh "He has David and Seraphim protective of him as well. I did not want you to worry more than you already have been, my dove, and cloae off again. And you? Have you met anyone interesting tonight?"

Danny shook his head. "No, my dove, he's not but some of his unwilling minions are. He can't find you because of your bracelet so he sent others to. Most of them don't want to bring you back. They came to make Malachi be quiet and not come himself." Danny reassures his nervous friend, squeezing his hand. "Have faith, my dove, Malachi doesn't stand a chance against us and our allies and no Ezra won't tell him you are here. He wants no part of it, he juat doesn't want to face his wrath. We offered him protection and solace if he doesn't tell. I may have just met Ezra but my instincts tell me he can be trusted, my instincts are rarely wrong.'

"My platonic soulmate Eric is your romantic soulmate?" Danny grinned "Honestly I kind of saw that coming if you and Eric were to ever meet. He needed someone like you and you needed someone like him." He kissed his temple "I wouldn't worry too much about Eric if Malachi did decide to make an appearance. Eric is more powerful than many realize. I think he secretly likes being underestimated. Our wild card. And being Eric's soulmate also puts you under Magnus's protection and there are very few who want to challenge Magnus"

It took a long time for David to look at me after the Unseelie attacked the Seelie Court and took Aera from us, took Seraphim and Gabriel's husbands, your platonic soulmate's father. I know realistically it wasn't my fault but it weighs on me despite being forgiven and make me fear if I am worthy of a forever love sometimes."
