Hows Kenzie going?

Thank you for asking! She has been really bad with her anxiety/depression for about 4 weeks now. It was so bad that we drive to Las Vegas for Nationals but she had an anxiety attack ½ way there and we had to drive all the way back home! She hasn’t really been dancing. I feel so bad for her and so helpless because there is nothing I can do except try to calm her and support her! She seems to be a little better since Gavin came back from Orlando.

Unwritten rule …. Never talk about your score unless it’s with teacher. It’s usually better to look at the overall general performance and and see how you and your teacher feel you did with a particular piece of choreo.

Kaylee’s goal that weekend was to be able to get back on her feet and just make it through dances without re injuring herself. The last thing on our mind ever in our household is scores. Except with YAGP cause there your score does matter or you cannot get to NY.

Scores depend on the backgrounds of the judges & have no value in the performance, abilities and level of a student.

no tights doesn’t bother me for most costumes unless it’s a leotard or shorts that look like underwear

i was referring to ballet class mostly! costumes its fine but when i see people taking ballet in crop tops and booty shorts with poorly sewn ballet shoes, no tights, and messy hair, it grinds my gears like their teacher should teach them to respect ballet, it is a discipline!

For a choreographer to choreograph a solo for them? Can anyone else confirm that? I’m not talking about additional costs like costumes etc

The most I have seen for solo choreo is $700. Costumes can be another $500-$750.

Oh I thought you meant total. With fees and costuming. For kambria's solo to be choreographed I pay $1250.

Why beg for acceptance in regards to your child’s worth. For me there is no price tag on the worth of my children. I know what my children are worth.

Yes...thank you. I see moms left and right, in this industry, sacrifice character and integrity to get their children ahead. And they are blinded to the people they are modeling for their children in the process. Keep publicly valuing each of your kids. It's really a breath of fresh air. 🙌🏽
