At the public open house for the new 96th Street #2ndAveSubway station! At 14,000 square feet, #SarahSze’s “Blueprint for a Landscape” is the largest permanent artwork in the #MTAArts collection!
Written to honor the historic opening of the #SecondAvenueSubway, we are thrilled to present Poetry in Motion’s newest offering: “Subway” written by former U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins! Artwork features a detail from Sarah Sze’s immersive work “Blueprint for a Landscape” installed at the new 96th Street station.
