Based on that one Freddie Mercury photo.

I wanted to depict a healed Harry who has worked through his depression and addictions. He actually found the kitties while working on a murder case with Jean and decided to keep them (Kim had something else going on at the time). Later, he invites Kim over to his place to show off the cats. I also made his hair longer because they are pretty magnificent for his age and shows time progression.

​Btw, to any artists out there: I really dislike how dead my eyes look here, so please give me some advice! Oh, and the background is kinda edited, kinda not. I didn't have time to fully draw it myself, so I just dropped a photo in and messed around with it, idk. Have a kittyful day!!!

We made a traditional pasta dish from Ardahan, Turkey with my grandma. It is called karnıcırık, which means "it has its stomach twisted".

It is just basic dough shaped with two of your fingers until it twists on itself. Then you add hella butter and good amount of cheese. We use çürük cheese that is similar to gorcola. It is a funkier and saltier cottage cheese.

Ardahan is a mountainous place near the border of Georgia. It has snow most of the year, and beautiful wildflower fields. They generally do livestock farming. I can't say I go there much. We don't have any relatives left there, and it is quite a hassle to go. You can ride horses on a big lake in the winter, which is the coolest thing ever. Anyway, because it has been such a hassle to go for many years, even though it is easier now, the culinary scene depends on the produce they can cultivate in those conditions. So, it is mostly animal products and carbohydrates. They also have some wild herbs they use, like kımı (hogweed) and poppy seeds. (I would get high too if I were them.)

Cooking these dishes with my grandmother feels like my strongest tie to my ancestry. I don't mind that, though. I believe every era and place offers different cultural aspects that I can actively choose to internalize.

Chicken soup with rice vermicelli

It had leeks, carrots, chicken, zucchini, light soy sauce, sumak and some cheese in it. The flavor was light but tasty. Be careful with the green onions because adding them early throws off the balance of the dish. You can add chilli pepper with a squeeze of lemon instead of sumak.
