Danganronpa: Despair Reality is a non-profit fangan project. It's a video series trying to emulate the style of the games. Much like the original, it follows 16 Ultimates trapped within a "Killing Game" where they must murder another one of their fellow students and not get caught otherwise facing a despairful end.

The series is currently in production and there is no release date as of now, but I will share that the Prologue and Chapter 1 script is complete!

But if I were to guess maybe the series might release at the end of this year or early next year.
