You knew there logical explanations for everything you heard and saw, and sometimes you even noticed them before, but nothing stopped your instant fear.
āBoo!ā Kokichiās voice was right in your ear when he spooked you, causing you to jump almost ten feet. It wasnāt unusual for him to greet you this way, but you never saw it coming. āNeeheehee, I totally got you!ā
āKokichi!ā You pouted playfully, hoping to give off the feeling that you werenāt as terrified as you genuinely were now, and doing your best to keep from glancing over your shoulders every few seconds.
āWell, youāre ready to go now, right? Riiight?ā Kokichi questioned you, and excited grin on his face with the hint of a smirk.
You rose an eyebrow at him, perplexed. āWhat? Iām ready to go where?ā You questioned him, worried you forgot something important. Apparently you had, considering the pout on Kokichiās face.
āOur date! You lost the bet, so you hafta take me out, and I wanna go now!ā He whined, arms crossed as he puffed out his cheeks like a child.
Your eyes widened in shock as you remembered. āOh yeahā¦but wait, I was waiting till later! I donāt have anything set up yet!ā You argued, but one look at his face told you that there was no way out of it. āā¦fine. Letās go to the park.ā

All in all, the date was pretty fun. The two of you threw leaves at each other, as fall had created an abundance of them, you swung on the swings, and chased each other around, whatever the two of you came up with. Currently, you were hiding from Kokichi in a round of hide and seek, in a little pocket underneath a slide at the playground. It was dark, and that spooked you a bit, but you were determined to get him to give up.

Your lip quivered as you began to explain how full of fear youāve been, irrational and overwhelming thoughts swarming through your head constantly. Kokichi wasnāt the most emotionally-inclined person, but that didnāt stop him from wrapping his arms around you and sighing.
