"I did reply - Ghostface called me a whore and told me to ‘watch out’ boogeymans back.
"Oh, don't listen to him - I bet Ghostface is just bored and looking for someone to entertain himself with." Dani says reassuringly. "Although I'd definitely get that door fixed if I were you."
Road Trip to Anywhere || Kaiden & Dani
Dani stood at the spot they had agreed to meet, humming quietly and swinging her duffel bag and guitar case to the melody of the tune. She wasn't sure if she was being stupid or smart by going on a roadtrip with Kaiden, with all the Ghostface activity going on, but the only thing Dani was sure of was that she was getting cabin fever. While she liked Woodsboro and its certain charm, she wasn't used to staying in one place for so long - a road trip was in order, and she definitely wasn't saying no to a companion. Dani's humming stopped abruptly when she saw the familiar figure walking towards her, waving at him as he neared. "Hey!" She greeted him enthusiastically. "Lead the way - ready to get lost on the road?"
"I guess you are," he answered, smiling at the older woman. "Ohh, Danielle, that might just be the exact reason. But I’ll take caution agreeing to your plans in the future. Pizza is fine with me - even though they took extremely long to deliver it for being Woodsboro’s only pizza spot - but this … creation -” He pointed at the mug in front of him and shook his head slowly, “- is really bad.”
"Oh, come on Noel - it's not that bad." Dani teases, punching his arm lightly. "You're hurting my feelings here. I mean, I made it just for you." She gives him a childish pout and turns back to the fridge, rummaging its contents. "Maybe if I add more alcohol it'll mix nicely with the pizza..." Dani muses out loud. "Maybe I'll just leave this here as security just in case Ghostface breaks into my house and gets thirsty."
"Welcome to Tricc, your one stop shop for anything and everything to do with music, what can I help you with?" His white teeth shined as he smiled at the customer walking through the door.
"Hey - I was wondering if you happened to have any new guitar straps? Mine just broke and I haven't quite mastered the powers of levitation yet."
"That guy over there just pissed in a coke bottle."
"Maybe he just wanted some orange juice?"
"Then road trip it is." Kaiden exclaim "I might even bring my guitar and sing to you." He laughed "How about you meet me back here around 5:30?"
"I'll bring my guitar and we can make it a collaboration duet." Dani grins. "5:30 sounds great - I'll see you then!"
"I’ll have my dad redo the security system.. Did you get the text last night..and I don’t think so."
"I got the text, but I don't think my phone can handle a reply - did you reply to it?"
"It could've worked out, let's be real. And, ugh, Dani, you're such a bad influence,” He added, stretching the last words very sarcastically. “— I won’t ever let myself be persuaded to cook with you again. Could you remind me of why I even agreed to show up here?”
"I may be a bad influence, but I'm a great friend, am I right?" She winks jokingly, a goofy grin on her face. "Besides, you can't say I didn't warn you." Dani takes a sip of the gooey liquid out of Noel's cup, scrunching her nose. "It's because I'm decent company on a Wednesday night and I couldn't finish an extra large pizza myself. And also because I needed a fine tester such as yourself."
"That doesn’t make me feel safe at all.. Maybe, I should check around."
"Yeah, and get some locks replaced - is anything stolen?"
"This is an exclusive trip with the Kaiden Scott." He burst out in laughter. "I want to see some different beaches, maybe hike somewhere, you down for that?"
"I feel like I just won the lottery." She laughs jokingly. "Oh, I am definitely up for any adventure - if you want to jump off a mountain or fight a dragon, then I'm your girl."
I wouldn’t classify myself as a kid, seeing most of the people around here I would put my maturity to age twenty-three.

"What? The door was opened?.. I’m fine."
"Yeah, kinda like half-open. Kind of got worried that I'd just find a body in here, you know with everything that's been going on."
In all honesty, it might be better that you don’t ask or know.
I'll keep that in mind - what you kids do nowadays kind of scare me sometimes.
"I mean.. you were in my house.."
"Your door was open and I was checking to see if everything was alright - you know, the whole friendly neighbour thing."
"I am going wherever the road takes me, hopefully far from here." He laughed "So are you game?"
"I'm always game for an adventure." Dani grins. "Anyone else on this roadtrip, or is this an exclusive thing?"
"This tastes … weirder than I expected."
"Well, you can't expect peanut butter, bananas, and cinnamon to taste normal, do you?" Dani grins widely. ".. I may or may not have added a secret ingredient of alcohol, too.. maybe."
