Dorothy Iannone
I’ve been reading up on Iannone and am intrigued by the content of her work, her interest in Buddhism, and this idea she’s exploring of devotion but also creating space to be self-empowered.
A quote about how her Buddhist practice influences her work:
“I could say, though, that my dharma experience has made me consciously aware of the process of creativity: for instance, when I’m working, how my mind is held empty of thoughts, at ease, and somehow the “answers,” one after another, arise.“
To give oneself and yet to remain free.

My friend Cabe Lindsay has written a children's book Be Well Bee. The above pic is a spread from it.

The poignancy of a photograph comes from looking back to a fleeting moment in a floating world.

Ordinary mind includes eternal perceptions. Notice what you notice. Observe what's vivid. Catch yourself thinking. Vividness is self-selecting. And remember the future.
