i saw your art and had a moment of "AMANO'S ON TUMBLR??" but the longer i looked the more i noticed differences that make it YOUR style instead, with a huge nod to Amano, and it's gorgeous

i've also been taking notes from his style, though i have a long way to go technique-wise.

what medium do you prefer? i was mostly digital for a long time, but recently switched to ink and watercolor

Hello gon-and-killuas-mother! Hope your day is being awesome! 💜💜 As I said before, I am a huge fan of Amano's art, he is a great inspiration for me! Glad that his works is inspiring you too! You can learn a lot with his art and his vision about everything. About the medium I prefer, it is digital. In the past I used to draw a lot on paper and use inks, colored pencils and watercolor! With time I kinda stopped and now I only focus on digital art, it's more "comfortable" for me haha. But I'm still a big fan of traditional art, hope you are enjoying the world of watercolors and inks a lot!!

I'm from a city called Yharnam, but things doesn't feel good and safe around here for some time... I'm thinking about move to another place... 🤔

I’m in love with your artwork. Just like you, I’m also a huge fan of Yoshitaka Amano since he created Final Fantasy logos; he’s the reason why I started drawing even Tetsuya Nomura (the artist who did character designs for Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts) and seeing your artwork—and your inspiration, it makes me feel nostalgic in a way. Just to be clear, I used to draw a lot, and now I’m rusty whenever I draw something, also as if my learning on drawing have been completely erased, and sometimes insecurity comes in. But, seeing your drawings makes me feel excited. Ah, the power of nostalgia. Keep up the good work! 🤭💕

Ohhh, That's such a special ask! I adored to read your story about how you started drawing and your inspirations, It's wonderful to see how the things that we love can influence us! I can see that you love Square Enix games huh? 💙

And I relate to your story a lot! In fact, In my teen years, I was a really big fan of Kingdom Hearts, I loved Roxas and used to create characters that resembles him 😂 The style of Nomura influenced me a lot in my first years of drawing! (the more anime style haha), in the other hand, Amano I feel in love when I was older. ♡

And I'm hoping you can feel good about drawing soon stxrrystrxwberry! Art can really mess with our emotions and bring insecurity... (drawing in fact it's a difficult thing!), but the important is the joy that can bring to us! ♡ Know that my art made you feel excited, awww, it's a honour! 🥺
