henry zaga, he/him + cis male, 25 | well of course you’ve heard of danilo bianchi, right? they are a graduate student living in town taking masters in finance & religion at rye university, and as per the blinds, they are like a silver blade, medical illustrations hanging in the wall, the smell of coffee freshly brewed.
greetings, this is alex bringing you my second born <3 basically he’s the worst but also has a big heart buried underneath it all. once again, i wrote a bunch so here are some things to sum it all up !!

danilo was born in the favelas of rio de janeiro, [ TW: DEATH & NEGLECT ] his mom died at childbirth and his aunt was forced to take him in for the first 5 years of his life, safe to say she wasn’t cut out to be a mother because eventually she left him.
not too long after that, he was adopted by flavio bianchi, an italian businessman on his vacations to rio (very mr. oliver warbuck of him) and so dani was brought to milan and into a new loving(ish) family with two older brothers and a mom who pm became his world.
the family was new to money (don’t ask, only flavio knows how that came to be) but he was... well newer and was never really able to adjust to the glitz. even now, so many years later you can still see him wearing converse with a fancy pant, it’s a weird combination, a put-together mess that he somehow manages to make look classy.
which is also why he doesn’t live in linacre even though he could, instead he has an apartment in town that looks more like a fancy library/study.
that doesn’t mean he doesn’t think he’s better than everyone else, because he really does. he just doesn’t place that much credit on the money but on his pretty gifted brain.
his childhood was tough, he was never able to connect with his brothers [ TW: BULLYING ] and in school he was constantly teased from not knowing the language, coming from a very poor background, being adopted, etc. [ END OF TW ]
so, he took refuge in the academic aspect of school and really put his whole being into it. he loved to learn anything about everything and soon enough took a linking to languages, science, philosophy, you name it.
i’d love to say he became just a cute lil bookworm but honestly, he’s a prideful boy. from his father he learned one shouldn’t just accept being stepped on so he didn’t. [ TW: VIOLENCE ] what started as a self-defense mechanism became... well, something else. a hobby even. you tried to get on his nerves? he either made you feel like the smallest insect with words or taught you a lesson with his fists. [ END OF TW ] he didn’t like people anyway, constantly became annoyed with anyone who assumed their presence was worth having and became eager to remind them it in fact, was not.
so arrogant and full of himself, but at the same time so alone. not that he’d ever admit to that being the case.
he made it a point to study as far away from his brother andrea as he possibly could, so he chose rye university.
his father founded the asclepio group and basically owns and manages a bunch of hospitals in italy. his mother is also a nurse so it just made sense to enroll into med school.
and then, [ TW: DEATH ] flavio was found dead. [ END OF TW ] andrea, being the eldest, took over the company and danilo was just not having it because as far as he can tell his brother has a total of one brain cell and a half. he also thinks it unfair because andrea knows nothing about medicine.
so here he is, back at rye feeding his brain, going for his finance master so he can take his brother down. he’s also doing a masters in religion because he can and he’s ridiculous but also thinks he can maybe manipulate people using their religion.
has never been in an actual relationship and if he has he didn’t know about it lol, he is a master of keeping things distant and casual.
i’d just like to say that despite all of that he’s an absolute sweetheart with a heart of gold if you manage to find it. he’d kill for you, he’d die for you.
has three gorgeous dobermans (all females) that are his pride and joy, he actually keeps them in his apartment in town.
you can sometimes see him on his skateboard through town on his way to class, do hesitate to come and say hi!
