Putting aside your views on the last episode, can we at least appreciate the progress Loki has made? Considering it's the 2012 Loki who would have done anything for the throne no matter who or what would get in his way to it but when Sylvie gave him the opportunity to kill her he responded with a very emotional no and made it clear he was more worried about her then finally having the throne he always wanted. No matter how you view Sylvie's actions.. Our beautiful baby boy Loki got a himself a big character development and I am here for it.

Hi and welcome to my Flick of ACNH has autism Tedd talk!

So first off we look at when he comes to visit your island. He always asks if you rember him and after that whenever you interact with Flick he will be lost in his own world. When you sell him more the one bug he gets excited to the point he has to calm himself down before offering you bells. He stutters his thanks and shows happy and bashful emotions when interacted with.

Now we look at the difference between the fish and bug statues him makes. It's clearly he makes the fish statues because CJ asks him but Flick isn't as passionate with the fish statues when compared to the bugs. Almost every bug statue is larger then their living counterparts while the fish statues are somewhat always smaller with the exception of smaller fish. While this might not look like much at first glance it shows that Flick is more passionate when working on bug commissions and most likely goes up into his own world. While fish statues are just a commission, bug statues are where he forgets it's a commission at all.

Then we have the bug off. When compared to fish tournaments and CJ, Flick isn't as confident as his partner. Once again a lot of shy and bashful emotions and dialog. As well as calling the bugs you caught friends as well as calling then spirit guides and being overjoyed to buy them from you.

Why is this important and anything to do with autism?

Some common traits found within people with autism are:

Problems with social interaction others; Flick is the only npc that shows having problems with interaction with the player.

Have unusual interests in objects & may talk constantly about things that interests them; It's no secret Flick loves bugs but compared to his partner Flick is obsessed with his bug friends

Unusual emotion reactions; While this is lot harder in ACNH, Flick once again reacts different from any other npc with maybe the only exception being Wisp.

In short

Flick is very socially awkward towards the player, especially when comparing him to both his partner, CJ but also the rest of the special NPCs.

He has an obsession with bugs to the point he get lost in his own world when talking to him when he visits.

This obsession is also clearly in his artistic work. Statues made for bugs are always bigger compared to their fish counterparts which are often smaller.

So I found this neat little detail about villagers in ACNH. The books they read are based off their hobby.

Play has comics. Nature a book about bugs. Music is a book with kk slider. Fashion have book with pictures of clothes. Education is a normal book. I have yet to catch the book of someone with a fitness hobby.

Seed Siblings holiday headcanons

–these are just some things I imagine the seed siblings are like during the holidays, even though they almost over–

Joseph - Loves the holidays - Plans out the whole evening - Brings a gift for everyone - Surprisingly wears sweaters at the holidays

John - Most expensive suit of the evening - Complains the most about how it’s all a waste of time - Still the one who is most involved in the evening - Becomes highly emotional about the gifts his family give him - Will cry if planes are involved

Jacob - Brings the good stuff at the table. alcohol - Meat, meat and meat. That’s his menu for the evening. - Once managed two eat 3 wholes turkeys as a contest - Would do it again - Will fight for the last piece of food if needed

Faith - Been excited the whole month - Cute gifts for everyone - Generally happy - Joseph has to protect her from being given alcohol by John - Still manages to get drunk in the end of the evening Dammit John - Drunk happy cries

Seed Brothers with a mute deputy.

(This inspired by me and my friends making fun of John’s Yes obsession. And the idea of the deputy just being a mute person so they can’t say flipping yes)

 Joseph

Joseph first got a feeling about the deputy’s muteness after a few of his followers had a conversation about them often using signing as a code with their companions. After getting the Deputy to join the project of Eden Joseph was determined to learn how to read and speak in sign language. Joseph made sure most of Eden’s Gate would learn basics of signing. As well being determined to make Eden’s Gate more appealing to those with a disability.

Jacob

Jacob learned about the deputy’s disability after they had been captured and brought to the veteran hospital. He could hear Deputy Pratt having a conversation, yet there was no one who responded back to him. When Jacob went to investigate he could see the deputy signing in response of Pratt. At first Jacob saw them as weak. However, he became intrigued when he was sure the deputy was signing to him. Jacob would actually force Pratt to translate for him and eventually teach Jacob, so he could understand them.

John

John was so determined to make the deputy say yes to him that he didn’t even notice the deputy signing yes to him. Surprisingly John is the only one from the brother to be able to understand and slightly speak sign. Being a lawyer gave him a few clients in the past who were depended on sign language. John would act like a translator between his family and the deputy. He would refuse to teach anyone else. The fact that the deputy was completely depended on him to communicate made John feel like he had power over them.

Book review - Don't wake up

I just finished reading 'Don't wake up' written by Liz Lawler.

In short: The book was very quickly into giving me the chills by starting the story with the horror. The story dragged me into feeling bad for Alex when she struggles with the idea of people not believing her as well as making me actually believe through out some of the chapters she might have lost her mind. The characters are developed greatly to either make me love or hate them. Some shocking me throughout the story.

What I do love about the book is that it brings the importance of being believed or supported by those around you can be.

I highly recommend this book for those who love a mystery book HOWEVER the book is about abduction/rape/sensitive materials thay may make it hard to read for those who have trouble with these subjects.
