Base update!

I've decided to start calling this base Valley Farm, but I have a lil road that goes to up the river on the left up to the coast and I've started a lil base over on the rocky beach area over there. (I'm calling that area Stone Beach)

I'm still on the hunt for cows or llamas, and thus a reliable source of leather, but I've made due and managed to scrape together the start of a lil library/enchanting area and I'm very happy with how that's been going!

WITCHES. Some are Villagers who were struck by lightning, and upon realising they miraculously survived an attempt on their life by the sky itself- decide to do more with their lives and run away to do their own thing. They have not realised the possible brain damage caused.

So- I was originally intending on using this blog to post mainly liminal and spooky Minecraft stuff but.... I just want to talk about my survival base, man.

It's grown a little bit since I've taken this picture, I have a horse and donkey stable that's half done right now.

The funny thing is I know by many many players standards, I'm playing this game extremely slowly? But I also genuinely don't care for some of the combat aspects of this game and I'm enjoying building up a little settlement for myself and going out and hunting down specific resources as I go along.

I genuinely don't have much interest in the Nether or The End as of right now because of my dislike of the combat, so my focus is on building resources to make it easier. Like figuring out an enchantment set up, actually taking the time to learn get better at combat etc. I'm nowhere near ready to jump into the more intense aspects of the game yet lmao.

Bad news: I wasn't paying attention and forgot to close the lid to my lava trashcan and the Wandering Trader accidentally fell into it and that aggro'd his llamas

Good news: I finally have leads and a little bit of leather!!!
