I'm listening to the catcher in the rye audiobook and I got tired of rotating holden in my head so i tried to draw him🤷

I think what makes me the most sick about The Catcher in the Rye is, obviously Holden is a fictional character, so that means he's never going to age. All of the teens who grew up relating to Holden are one day going to be older than him. They'll just keep on getting older while Holden will perpetually be a seventeen year old who's scared of growing up. But he doesn't have to grow up, the reader does. You can come back and revisit him when you're older and he'll still be seventeen. But I think he'd enjoy the company all the same.
