A Goodbye And Farewell

So one thing about ask-request blogs is that their activity depends on the asks sent in. And... It’s been two months and I’ve gotten less than five. Since I’m not too keen on trying to keep up with a semi-active/mostly-dead blog, I’m going to be closing dankgankin. The url and blog will remain for purposes of an archive, but that’s it. I won’t be taking requests or anything like that anymore.

I’m going to be straight up: I’m lithromantic so romantic affections aren’t… Really my thing, per se? So I’m likely not the best person to ask for positivity. I hope the following will be of some help though!

I know it sucks being lonely. It’s awful, draining, and one of the worst feelings to have. It makes you watch others and feel worse about yourself because you want what they have, but who’s there to supply it? The answer is that there isn’t anyone, until you find someone. However, I think realizing this comes to your own benefit. If you can realize this and focus on it, then you can focus on loving yourself. You don’t need anyone else but yourself, in the end. Another person is just a bonus, really, and I don’t think it’ll help if you go actively seeking for a relationship. Find other things to keep your interests. Find other things outside of your typical interests. Maybe you’ll find someone doing what you like. That’s how I ended up in my current relationship, but that’s a story I won’t get into.

Did you get your tablet?

I did!! And it’s super nice. I don’t like the noise the surface makes while I draw; it’s louder than my old tablet because the old tablet had more of a smooth surface, but that’s okay. It works, and it works well, so I’ll take it!

Oh!! I’m going to try this Monoprice tablet I’ve seen floating around Tumblr! If it doesn’t work out, I’ll be going back to Wacom because it worked decently well for me until the wire died.

Sorry for not getting to any requests lately.
