Google and fashion designer, Diane Von Furstenberg collaborate to create the first 'shoppable' Google hangout, where participants could click to buy DVF products as the designer answered questions about her life and career.
The concept is to be rolled out to other CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) designers, the organisation of which, Von Furstenberg is the president of.
While Google and Von Furstenberg didn't supply engagement or sales stats for the hangout, the Youtube teaser video attracted 2.3 million views.

The Choosatron is a Choose Your Own Adventure® inspired concept story printer.
The fun kit easily assembles into a small interactive fiction game box, for social reading and playing. As users play, they make decisions that affect the outcome of the story, and their journey is printed on a keepsake paper scroll. Users will be able to write their own stories as well (using open and free software), download new stories over Wi-Fi, share their own stories with others over the internet, and save their unique stories on the provided SD card.

Set at the arrival terminal of Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport, Dutch coffee house, Douwe Egberts hosted a vending machine that uses a combination of Midi tunes and facial recognition technology, to detect yawns and dispense free cups of coffee.
