“Oh, god no!” Sylvie beamed, taking another bite, swaying side to side happily. Yes, she was used to digging around in the trash, but she had had a job recently! She could afford good food and she liked to think she had refined her palette enough to know that this was good too.
“No, you’re still good.” She continued to reassure the other. “You thinking about opening your own place then?” Perhaps if she made connections now, she might have something lined up in the future when this receptionist gig went down the drain. Because it would. They always did.
“i’d really like to. it’s been a long time dream since i was a kid. either be a baker, or a chef. not half bad at savory stuff either...i just don’t know what steps to take to make all of it happen. can’t really see it being very easy, y’know?” danny asked the other, a small smile still etched into his features. the woman was sweet, and reassuring. he’s met so many kind people since moving to silvercreek. “do you have connections with people who know business things? i don’t really know anyone personally. it’s something i’d still love to do! but i’m kinda always broke after paying or barely paying my bills.”
