Encouraged & motivated by these artists & their stories: Vilmos Zsigmond, a refugee from Hungary, who ended up winning an Oscar for Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Yuri Neyman, having to start his career from square one when moving to the U.S. from Russia - then later achieving success in becoming an accomplished member of the ASC. These both later founded the Global Cinematography Institute...an incredible school that's dedicated to taking students to the next level in their careers. (photo taken by Thomas Susemihl)
