Probably punch a guy, but that was back at home and I don’t think anyone would find out about that.

I was bullied a lot as a child so I have plenty of trust issues with people. I only show one side of myself to people, everyone else doesn’t get to see the real me.

Maybe Jane? Definitely my mom. I am not really comfortable around many people.

42. If your being extremely quiet what does it mean?

That I am upset or uncomfortable.

“Weird. We’ll just make a super long list of food to try then. Since we are getting yogurt too.” Lo made a mental note to jot it down somewhere so she could get back to it later on and they can plan it out. “You could say you’re on a mini vacation from home? New place, new faces. She is, but I’m not worried since this isn’t home and i could hide anywhere.” She didn’t care much for Yzma and preferred to ignore her as a menace. Her hand held onto his highly as she began swinging one leg up. “Ok just like my beam.” The leg hooked up and she used it to pull herself while holding onto him. “No embarrassing moments this time.”

“OH! I can definitely do that. I have had pizza before and hamburgers, but I can think of other stuff. What else have you not tried?” He asked, knowing that there must have been plenty of foods she didn’t have back home. “A mini vacation, I guess you are right. I don’t have to work, at least. That’s a nice perk. That’s good. Do you think she’d try to come here?” Danny didn’t know of any villains around and while Jane had warned him about Sylvia, Danny didn’t see her as a threat. “Your what?” He paused, pulling her further and wrapping an arm around her waist to keep her still. “Are you all right? See, it wasn’t that bad. Do you think you can climb to the next branch?”

“A corndog? What the hell is that?” The name itself confused her, why would someone name a good that. “Nah, she wanted to kill him. But our Tio Pacha helped stop her but she’s after and now we’re here. Who’s after you anyways?” Lo figured that was the case since he was here too. Lo stretched her arms up, squatting low and jumping up but not getting the branch. “Puñeta. Let me just-” jumping again, she got one hand to grip the branch but struggled with the other. “Dan.”

“I don’t really know entirely. I heard it was a hotdog on a stick with some sort of fried dough around it. We’d have to try it and see,” he said, shoulders shrugging as he struggled to find an answer. “Oh. That’s intense. Okay. And no one, I don’t think so? I was sent here because, I really am not sure. Is that lady still after you?” He questioned, figuring that much. Why else would she be at the palace? Watching as Lorena begun to climb, Danny shot his hand forward when he saw her struggle. “I got you,” he said, grabbing ahold of her other hand and attempted to pull her up on the branch. “There you go, I got you.”

“Ay, it’ll be so fun and we can try other stuff at the village.” She smiled at him, she was always happy to go to the village and try out anything. “Nah, I don’t know how. It was this crazy lady at home, made him drink some potion. Nothing crazy.” Lo shrugged, hearing the story so many times and was used to it. “Ay Mama Quilla, don’t -” Lo cringed from fearing him falling. How was she supposed to do this? “I’m sure I have no upper body strength. So I’m going to lean towards no.”

“Can we try a corndog?” He asked, wanting to taste it at least once. He had heard it was a hotdog someone covered in fried dough. “A crazy lady at home, sounds normal. Did she want to hurt him?” He asked, though did not understand how it wasn’t crazy. Her father was turned to a llama, wasn’t that crazy enough? Standing up on the branch, Danny propped himself along the tree as he waited for her. “Give it at least one try, have faith in yourself. Put your hands over the branch and try to throw yourself onto it.”

“Que?! Ay we’re gonna get some now. You’ll love it, trust me.” Lo was shocked to say the least but the place in the village was perfect for after this. “I’ll figure out a way, my dad was turned into a llama, so I just gotta find a toad version.” She smiled, rubbing her hands together to add effect to her plan. “I, Lorena Kuzco, am pleased to humor you.” She could make a joke out of this before it was done, she’ll probably laugh too. “Por favor, I don’t know how to do all this.”  Her hands motioned exaggeratedly to the tree.

“Okay, I will believe you. I will get whatever you get on yours.” He said, hoping it was something he would have liked in the end. “So you are going to really turn me into a -- Your dad was turned into a llama? How did that work, what happened?” Was that due to some sort of potion or was she joking with him? “I can show you, here...” pausing, Danny jumped up to grab the first branch. Pulling himself onto it, he swung his legs over and sat down. “Can you do that with the other branch?”

“Basic stuff, sprinkles and syrup. Do you like your’s super sweet?” Lo asked, oblivious to if he had it or not. “Ay, don’t be mean. I’ll turn you into a toad.” She stuck her tongue out a him and laughed. “Aw, I’ll have to go to plan B. Really? Well, I should be happy cause we should not look back on this. I will probably make you cry of laughter.” Note to never show him a phone. “Ok, that doesn’t look too bad.” Her hands stretched a bit, she wasn’t sure how this was going to work. “Mama Quilla help me.”

“I am not sure, does it taste like ice cream? I never had frozen yogurt, only heard of it.” He assumed he would want it sweet, but he was not exactly sure what to put in it. “You are going to turn me into a toad! Hey, that might not be so bad. How are you going to do that?” Danny challenged, having not been sure whether she was a witch or not. “That is the best kind of laughter, I assure you that.” And the only kind he dreamt of. “Are you okay? Do you want me to help?” He called out, moving towards the side in order to examine the tree branch.

It’s just climbing anyways, why does it matter how you look?” Was she afraid of embarrassing herself? “Here, this is the perfect tree.” He paused, point upwards to the one that had been fully grown. Several branches hung low, making it perfect to climb upon. “Want to go first?”

“Yes! I’ll treat us to yogurt too.” Lo jumped in place, happy with their agreement. “Let’s hope it stays sunny.” She followed close, not wanting to get lost. “I’ve been looking for someone, no luck though. Have you been climbing tree lately?”

“Yogurt? Like frozen yogurt?” He questioned, wanting her to distinguish between the treat and the snack. “What, afraid of a little rain? Who have you been looking for, maybe I saw them? And no, not really. I exclusively saved my climbing trips just to bother you. I thought it would be funny seeing you try to climb.”
