The first time I saw a picture of this falls was like 20 years ago as a kid. I thought it was like some unobtainable place. Well, it was definitely less so then. Over the last few years, the popularity of Havasupai has exploded. And now, you have to get lucky booking your trip months in advance, and you only have a few minutes before the entire year sells out. Even by scree slope standards, this was the most chossy stuff I’d ever been on. This shot was taken just a few minutes before I dislodged a keg-sized boulder, sending it down the slope (sufficiently avoiding killing my friend @hazletoj ), and causing quite a ruckus of more rocks and dust.
