It was becoming more and more of a chore managing Moda Bella these days. Especially now that there were more important things occupying Giada’s mind. She was already busying herself up front sorting through applications of potential new manger candidates when the front door opened, and the bell sounded. “Oh, hello there Dante.” Giada greeted him, peering up from her paperwork with a raised brow and a smile she typically reserved for costumers. The restaurant was a favorite of hers, belonging to Violet. She had eaten there plenty of times before. Though there was a little unease when she was asked to meet with the don. Taking a seat, she gave him a nod, "I already did." She said as a waiter came and handed off a drink. "What is this about?"

"Do you already start business meetings getting straight down to business, relax enjoy your drink first." Dante laughed as he sat back in his chair, clearly having enjoyed a couple of drinks himself. "I just have something I need you to keep an eye on for me, in case it becomes an issue."

Aspen was happy to see her best friend in a good mood. It was the first time she'd seen him like this in a while, the sadness that usually was accompanied by a bottle. She looked over at him from the couch, laughing as she weighed her options. "St Barts is usually beautiful this time of year and I've got some bikini's practically dying to come out of my closet."

"St Barts it is. What kind of animal would I be if I didn't give you the opportunities to wear your bikinis? It's just unthinkable. We leave tomorrow so tell Griffin you're doing to need a couple of days off." Dante was sure he'd be able to look after his own children perfectly fine for a couple of days while he showed Aspen off on a yatch somewhere.

"Still a complete disaster, thank you for asking. Whose idea was it for us to all work this year? The booths are for poor people." Aware she might be complaining to the unamused, she moves the subject along. "Where did you end up, anyway?"

“Yes obviously besides all of those very minor inconveniences.” Dante laughed, rolling his eyes. It was amazing how little he care about her dress or her not wanting to work the booths but he was in a decent mood so he didn’t mention it. It was obvious she knew he wasn’t the person who’d care about her complaints. “I was busy,” he said offering no other explanation. In actual fact directly after the carnival he was home washing blood off himself but she didn’t need to know that. “You know me, always busy doing something scandalous.”

Dante's mood had turned out to be slightly better than he thought it was going to be on a day like today. Still, even though it was better than it could have been it couldn't exactly be described as good. The man was very much ticking time bomb, just waiting for something or someone to set him off. The texts being sent out were one such thing that had the ability to piss off the Don incredibly quickly if they started attacking the serpents. As it happened they'd mostly been about civilians so far... people Dante didn't overly care about. His face had been buried in his phone reading the latest text when he collided into someone. "Watch where the fuck you're going."

"Wolfie shut the fuck up. The way in which you lack any ability to shut your mouth for more then five seconds really needs to be studied. It's almost a talent at this point." Dante rambled, still pulling Wolfie to the outskirts of the carnival. In all honestly he didn't give a shit who saw them but with the amount of children roaming around it just wasn't worth the potential public indecency charge. It likely wouldn't show up on his record but a trip to jail was never convenient.

The second they were far enough away Dante stopped, pushing wolfie against a truck that had probably been used for set up. "Because I'm so nice I'm going to give you an option right now. You have five seconds to either bend over or get on your knees, if you take any longer I decide for you."

There was nothing Asher loved more than to fuck with his enemies. When he saw none other than Dante Moretti around the kissing booth, he had to laugh a little bit. If it was one group of people Asher truly despied, it was the serpents and he couldn't necessarily hide it. "Nothin', motherfucker. What are you lookin' at? The mere idea that he might want to kiss a man who looked like a rat had gone under a magical spell to became human as laughable. He might have fucked a good portion of the city, but he still had standards. He didn't even know the man of the man in front of him, that was how irrelevant he was to Dante. "Am I supposed to give a fuck who you are or what your opinion is?"

If Dante was the head of the Serpents then Giada was now the neck, and the neck not only supported the head, but could get it to turn — even if only slightly, and in small calculated steps, like for the duration of smashing dinner plates. "Now, I think it's about time we break some hearts."

Dante knew before he offered her the position that they would work well together, in fact she was likely one of the only members of the council he could see himself working well with besides his sister. Nepotism already got him into the role of Don, appointing his sister as he second might have been a step too far. "Hmm an activity I'm sure you're more than used to."
