"Well that went without too much of an issue thank god. Knowing daddy dearest I was starting to think he would have had something spectacular up his sleeve. I don't know what I was expecting really, maybe some fire to pop up out of the ground just to remind us all where he ended up." Dante shrugged. Thinking about it maybe he should have done that. Oh well, too late now. "Did you see that blonde with the tits? What's her name? Starts with a B or something? Anyway she looks like a stripper it's definitely a statement."

Arriving with Giada to the carnival had been a godsend. It was so much better than either having to find a date or walking into the whole thing alone, neither of which seemed like fun options. Recently loosing the man he'd hoped to spend the rest of his life with hadn't left Dante in the best mood to be surrounded by couples and hearts, that was for sure. "I'm itching to kill something." Dante muttered to the woman next to him almost as soon as they arrived.

The Moretti Motors headquarters was where Dante did a lot of his business, especially with those he trusted. To the outside world it was a completely legit and legal business; in fact it mostly was. He'd sent Giada a quick text telling her to meet him there and waiting. After everything it was important to touch base with the rest of the council, especially when one of their own was dead. "Ahh Giada thank you for coming." Dante said, making his way over to the door to greet her.

location: outside Ludovica's hospital room

Dante had been by his sister's side from the moment she got to the hospital until the moment she woke up, besides the time she was in surgery and when he went to visit Lucky. Very few people had been allowed into the room and he'd declared the whole floor a friends and family only zone. They were in the middle of a gang war, he wasn't taking any chances. When she finally had grown sick of him being in there he left, finding Giada almost immediately. "We need a council meeting urgently. We're having it here so Lu can be involved too."

"Giada, looking impeccable. Your date is incredibly lucky whoever they are. Please tell me it's not somebody from the society." And she really did look amazing. Giada was far from ugly but she'd outdone herself with her costume. If you asked Dante she'd never looked hotter. "Can I get you a drink?"

   "I swear to god.." it was mostly whispered --- venom wrapped in a h u s h e d voice. "giada." a single slender finger picked up the offending piece of plastic sprawled in front of his feet. "if you keep on shitting your hair ties all over my god damn floor I'm gonna P O P a nerve in my head, I swear to fucking god." there was no real rage in his tone, nothing to be actually feared. "seriously.. I have an entire collection of 'em and guess what? I don't LIKE it."
