Elena has noticed how attentive her son is. And sometimes she makes up things for him to do just so he’ll give Toria a little bit of space in order to get something accomplished. She’s about to have a talk with him about hovering. As much as she knows he just loves Toria and wants to keep her safe, she also knows that Toria needs to be able to breathe. She’s doing a good job of learning and helping. Better than the twins, because she’s taken an interest in it. The twins grew up with it, so, they whine that it’s boring and dry stuff to read, but Toria just eats it up.
With Toria here, and settled in Logan’s life, it’s easy to see that he’s found his Mate. Toria has also found the man she wants to be with. She loves him and wants him. But there’s also the hesitance of it being the wrong time to let go too far, but they’re trying to behave. Well, they were. As she lets him slip into her mouth, arms sliding around his neck, she finds herself not wanting to behave. Then he’s pulling back and all she can do is feel her blood pound in her ears. ”Breakfast, before I try to tear your clothes off right here,” she counters with a chuckle.
There's a difference of mindset between the Twins and Toria, one that Elena gets because she wasn't pack born either. Elena and Toria can get each other, having been human first. And Logan doesn't mean to hover or smother, he's just really enjoying his time with Toria and doesn't like being apart. Though he tries to not grumble much when his mother gives him something to do that will take him away from her for a little while. As for the twins well, they learn it, but it's not as new and shiny to them which is part of it.
Mate. That's exactly what everything in Logan screams when he has her close and can bury his nose in her throat. Everything in the world settles for him, not counting the danger that brought her here, and he needs that, needs her. And he has been good before now, but he can't help take that small step into more. "Promises, promises, Toria." He groans softly, "Doesn't take much to get me out of my clothes, especially for you."
