There's just something about A League of Their Own that is different, that makes it special.
This is the kind of queer, women-centered media we should be getting, that we deserve to be getting.
The way they so perfect intertwined Max and Carson's storylines so that they both held equal weight and were both just as important as the other...
The way they managed to not only represent so many different unique individuals and identities, but did so in a way where each and everyone of them had their moment to shine...
The way they were able to capture the struggles of queer women, and black women, and just people who did not fit the "norm" in a way that made sure every issue got the attention it deserved...
Just, from start to finish, this show was beautiful and was filled with everything from moments that made you smile so hard your face hurt to moments that made you hurt so much it was hard to breathe to all of the moments in between, it was a masterpiece.
I don't often let myself get my hopes up for queer media to be renewed because more times than not, I'm disappointed, but this one is going to hurt if this is all we get.
"You changed my whole life."
"You opened me up again, Carson."

Another worthy read THIS THIS all of THIS
My favorite thing about Eve and Villanelle finally being together was how naturally comfortable and domestic they became.
I loved all the small moments we got with them, like how they were drying dishes together and being domestic. A level of normality that Villanelle has been searching for and has wanted to experience since the beginning. Even with her telling Eve that she’s “a lot today”, as if they’ve been a couple for years now and she knows her moods.
Then there was the playful teasing that they constantly had with each other. How Eve teased Villanelle about getting coffee while she got caramel. How Villanelle judged Eve for liking mustard on her curly fries and both of them bantering about who was more messed up. Villanelle’s playful challenging “What?” towards Eve and then coating the curly fries in salt to be a brat. Both of them jamming out together in the car and genuinely having a good time being ridiculous together. Slapping each other’s butts like a married couple still keeping their flame alive.
I loved every second of them together. It was like nothing came more naturally to them then being like this, and it was beyond beautiful.
Can someone PLEASE explain to me what is the point of Killing Eve? 4 years, 4 seasons and FOR WHAT? They didn’t defeat the Twelve, there was no confirmation who actually ordered Kenny’s death and the biggest “redemption arc” Villanelle got was to save Eve and then die for no reason. What’s the point of her death? What is the point of anything at this point… what is the POINT of this emotional trauma?!
