Tsoi exhibition in Saint Petersburg

Archive pictures from Tsois loved ones and son displayed, alongside his art.

As someone who has been a fan for years I had no idea that Tsoi was actually an artists and went to art school. The painting I have been thinking about the most recently is his final work of art, of a man driving. As many may know, Tsoi tragically died in a car crash in 1990 at the age of 28. The last painting he ever created was him driving a car which terrifyingly foreshadows the future. I’ve honestly been thinking a lot about predestination recently and can’t help but think that maybe deep down he knew about the events that would take place.

Bezhetsk, Russia

spontaneous trip to bezhetsk I took in 2019 to visit my grandmothers monastery. After posting these pictures online I received tons of comment expressing love for this tiny town that I thought to be in the middle of nowhere. Hopefully one day I’ll return but it’s sweet melancholy will never be forgotten
