“We decided to send Weiss and Yang to the next round. Ruby and I will sit this one out.” She didn’t really mind it too much. It would give her time to focus on other tasks, although she’d still be cheering her teammates on.

“You definitely seem nice. I hope this loss doesn’t affect you too much. A lot of people say you need to learn from your mistakes.”

           “Ooh, that sounds like it will be a fun fight to watch no matter who they end up getting matched against” Team RWBY definitely did seem to be one of the strongest teams from the matches she had been able to catch. She couldn’t wait to see more.                 Gwen became a little flustered at the compliment. “Thank you! That really means a lot. And you’re right, it’s like they say, ‘you learn from failure, not from success.’” She giggled. “Maybe in two years time we’ll be matched against your team!”

            “It was a clever strategy to use your semblance like that.” This girl seemed a bit gloomy, but nevertheless, Gwen kept up her chipper attitude.               “Oh, thanks!” She laughed, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. “I probably could’ve done better, but there’s always next time!” Next time they’d train harder and have more coordinated team attacks. They’d be sure to win!                   “So, are you going onto the next round or are your other teammates going on?”
