I’m using the laser cutter at my school to cut throwing knives for my Gwen Darcy cosplay out of plexiglass. The finished ones already look so great. They are going to need some paint and some time with a sander to give a slight edge to them. I might also put some LEDs in them to make them glow when I squeeze them. I can’t wait, this cosplay is already starting to come together

I wanted to do some nice graphite images cause it’s been a while since I’ve used pencil and paper. So Graphite on 8.5x11 cardstock that may go up for sale on my storenvy as one of a kind original sketches.

Each dress was made with a bit of their personality and official attire in to play.

I am TERRIBLE at this oh my GOD

I’ve been wanting to “redo” the fight sequence between Sage and Gayl for a while, so I drafted this real quick. The idea of Sage blocking an attack from the back with his sword wouldn’t stop bothering me, that’s for sure.

the rest of the animation got out of hand though After he blocks Dew, he freezes her with a time glyph, and tries to attack her, but she blocks with a whirlwind, since she can’t move.

The rest of the fight after that, I’d imagine, goes as portrayed in canon. But I wanted to give Dew more of a reason to eliminate Sage so soon, after assessing how much of a problem he’d actually be.

I sent this in a week or two ago, but I'm almost entirely certain it got eaten the first time because, well, Tumblr, and also my internet was being stupid. Anyway, what languages do NDGO speak, or would you imagine they speak?

Well in real life, Bono (Nebula) speaks Italian, Paige (Dew) and Mylissa (Gwen) both speak French, and Claire (Octavia) speaks Spanish! Though I’d imagine we’d all love for our characters to be multi-lingual in a few more languages.

Would you all go to a con on the East coast?

Since we all live in the midwest we tend to stick to local cons around here, but we’re hoping a couple of us will make it out for 1 East coast con in the near future! 

I (Paige/Dew) actually go to school on the East coast and I’d love suggestions for cons to go to (especially for this summer)! So far I’ve only been to Setsucon out here but I’m thinking about going to NYCC. I was also SO CLOSE to going to Wonder Con in Philly this summer but it turns out I’ll actually be traveling with my family during it :(

Guess who just added Octavia Ember (and possibly Nebula Violette) to their future cosplay list!! Also, what conventions do you guys go to? I'd love to meet you all!

This year we are going to be attending ACen as a full team and then we’ll have various combinations of people at different cons throughout the summer. We’ll try and make a post or page where we’ll keep those updated -- but right now a lot of our plans are up in the air because of college and work.
