Well it was bound to be one or the other. It isn’t exactly possible that we’d have ended up not facing each other until Nationals or something. Unless the rules had changed. Well, the end of January is term exams and it just feels like the staff are trying to make sure there isn’t much to teach in the new year, apart from tidying up loose ends and exam revisions.
I know that, I was just half-expecting it to be at Sectionals again. And then you could have lost at Sectionals when we didn’t. That makes sense but it still sucks for you all.

I can’t believe it’s only two weeks to Christmas and I’ve only shopped for one person so far. Ugh. Thankfully this is the last week of school, and I’ll have some time before Christmas to do some last minute shopping. Please tell me I’m not the only one this far behind… because I know my mom has gifts wrapped and under the tree already, and I’m pretty sure Kurt’s been done since Black Friday….
You’re right, I’ve had everything sorted since then. I did offer to take you with me so you could get stuff. You’d better hurry up and get your gifts sorted.

Well, we knew the that changes were we’d have to face you guys at one point or another. I know I have at least one assignment due in every class before the end of next week, and at least one holiday reading assignment that I’d like to get done so that I don’t have to worry about it during Christmas. I’m hoping the rest of the faculty won’t assign too much during the break. I am sure I will have many other things to occupy myself with.
Yeah, I know but I wasn’t sure when that would be. Hopefully, they’ll lay off a little bit this week, I’m sure they won’t want a huge amount of marking straight after the holidays.

We also won our Sectionals. Of course we have a ton of assignments due before the Christmas break to get through… but I too am looking forward to the break. I always find Christmas to be such a magical time of the year, and it should only be better having someone to share that with.
I guess it’ll be a Warbler vs New Directions regionals again. That should be interesting. I’m not so worried about assignments with a holiday on the horizon, though. It’s just a few things to do before we’re school free for two and a bit weeks.

We shall see. I suppose you’re right. I just…I feel like I have to be useful. That if I stop for a moment and relax, I’m passing things by. I don’t know what else to do.
If you’re always doing something then you’re still passing things by. You’re missing out on just spending time with your friends. Sure, you might visit us around the holidays but it won’t be the same next year. Just...try and find something good.

Like I said, you can try. Finn actually suggested I do some volunteering for charity which I’m considering to do on top of my busy work schedules but I will keep that in mind in case I do end up with a free day. Yes, I know that, and of course, she deserves more than anything to enjoy Christmas, but as for my case, I’m not sure. Christmas with my father being back isn’t something I tend to enjoy even before he left.
And I will succeed. You need to take a break at some point, Quinn. It’s not good to be working all the time. I get you don’t want to be at home but like I said, there are other places you can go.

You can try but all I’m looking forward now are those baked goods. Not that I know of. Yes. My father is still around. It’s likely he’s moving back in and this would’ve been a Christmas without her.
I feel like I need to change that and soon. Well if you ever need somewhere to stay to get away from him, you know where I live. I’m sure it would be okay. As for it being christmas without her...you’ve been through one of those already and I’m sure she’s enjoying christmas so you should too.

I’ve never been before. I only really have to get presents for about three people outside of my family. I can only hope that I got the correct types of gifts for each person.
I think if there's so few people you need to buy for then you've probably done okay. Might I ask who for or is that too nosy?

Sounds like you had a great Black Friday haul though which is always good. I’m not really a fan myself considering people seem to lose whatever sanity they have left and resort to trampling over others just to get a coffee maker that’s half off.

You say that because you’d like to be picked up by my brother and thrown in the pool. Yeah it wasn’t too bad of a time. His girlfriend liked siding with me in picking on him, so that was a fun change of events. I like her a lot. It was not fun coming back to the cold and snow though. I feel positively chilled to the bone today.
You’re right, I would like to be picked up by your brother. In more ways than one. I’m glad you’re all getting along well though. It’s nice to hear. You’re right about the cold though and I haven’t even been away. It’s horrible.
