Dark & Dusty Home

Lord, it hurts a lot to watch time go by. 

And to be in this situation of struggle with my family. 

I wanna think it is no big deal that my mom is gone, living in seattle with my grandma, taking care of my grandma full-time without us being there to be with her.  

Or coming into my parents’ room, only to find my dad sleeping on the bed, not my mom. Not knowing when my mom is able to come back. Not knowing when he’s able to go out there to be with her. 

The house is not the same without my mom. Things are getting dusty. 

Things aren't being cleaned. The house is darker for some reason.  

Things are out of place and... you don’t hear my mother’s voice anymore. 

Sometimes, all I can say is that I miss my mom so much. I miss everything, and the way they used to be. I miss being a child. All I want to be is a child again. 

All I want to be is more well-off to give my parents freedom and unity and a worry-free life where we can all be children again and not have to worry about finances holding us back or splitting us apart.

I believe in financial freedom. and i want to achieve it for my parents. 

It’s real. it’s not some pipe dream. 

I just want to see my mom smile and hear her laugh. I want my dad to be able to roam freely around the world, exploring new foods and learning new things. i want to give them that before it’s too late.

Miss my mom

My mom is away with my grandma in Washington state. 

(My grandma has two types of blood cancer and is getting treated out there. 

please pray for her healing.)

i miss my mom a lot. 

for some reason, i haven’t talked to her in a while. 

sometimes i feel like she doesn’t wanna talk to me. 

but maybe she’s thinking the same thing. 

either way, it doesn’t matter to me if she doesn’t wanna talk to me. 

it matters more to me that i talk to her. and my grandmother of course. 

I just really miss my mom because she left so suddenly. 

everything behind, and now my dad has to move back there with her and my grandma. 

i almost wish i could move out there too, but i’d rather just visit them. it’d make more sense. i have responsibilities here. 

Because she’s gone, I’ve thought about her more, of course. and I realised how little i know of her. and how little i cared about knowing her.
