Ay, I'm back!

This is based off of a sketch I did a few months back. I don't have anything else to say about it, but they do look cute in cat suits. Also I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things and I'm aiming for Monday posts(I know its Tuesday, shush) so yeah.

Well damn, haven't posted something like this is like, three months? I really need to get my shit together and go over what I'm planning for these accounts.

Hauntedlockets is now religousrestrictions and is going to be a BoM/OC ask account...kinda. This musical is what inspiredme to make my character Kodi. So I want to, at least, try and do an ask account for him...mainly because he's one of my more interesting character next to Caleb and Kevin.

Next, I will be posting on DaretoShipRomano on a weekly basis. I did lose a lot of inspiration and burned myself out of hetalia and Romano through this account. But I'm back and the dares I have will be done in a different style, which will tie into my new idea, kind of.

APH-National-Animals is getting renamed and is being repurposed for my new idea, Parktalia, basically a mixture of South Park and Hetalia with a AU also mixes in. More will be explained when I start it up soon.

CaffeinatedAddict, damn, I'll either post fanart of caffeinated characters I love, or, I'll do an AU story of Tweek split in two or some shit. I don't know at the moment.

So yeah, I'm back and shit is going to start happening soon, especially on Daretoshipromano and Parktalia.

Not gonna lie, I'm tired of wearing a bandana on my face every day and I can't breathe through any of the masks out there because there's not enough room for air circulation.

Challenge 20 (08/17/2020) ICE CREAM AND WATERMELON / "I wouldn't do that if I were you"

I should've posted this two weeks ago when I had it done, but it completely slipped my brain. But, this was quite fun despite Trukey being a bit difficult to draw in this style. The next couple of picture is going to be drawn like this mainly because it's pretty easy and I'm going to be in a South Park mood for the rest of the year.

24th Challenge: Alice in Wonderland AU / "I really did think you were cute when you were jealous."

I just wanted to make an illustration for this challenge and to make it somewhat creepy. I'm not sure if I even did, it creeps me out a bit, but that's just me.

I got two pictures for this, it's just the same but Cheshire Romano is more visible in the next one. (Probably going to use this for my Instagram, when I get it up and running a bit)

Anyway, I had fun with this, got my creative juices flowing for the weekend. Hope you like it!

September 7th 2020

23rd Challenge: Crossover with one of your favorite movies / "The two of us, we're the best kind of disaster. Apples and oranges. Well. More like apples and machetes."

I’m not really into the movies, but I did loosely based this off of an interesting animated movie on Netflix called Animal Crackers. The story kind of revolves around animal crackers, when eaten can turn you into whatever animal was on the cracker you ate. But the only way to turn back is to eat an animal cracker that looks just like you and there's only one in box. I was thinking about making this a bit darker by making it extremely rare to find a "human" animal cracker. But that would bring down the vibe a bit.

(This is for anyone who comes across this, feel free to critique my terrible grammar and sentence structures...also the art as well)

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Damnit- Imma have to explain this.

Spain managed to get everyone in the gang tickets to a strange, creepy-ass circus event a week before it was in town. It's been months since we were able to spend time together as a group, because none of us had time to do so. But I did kinda appreciate it at first, until what happened, well, happened. Fast forward to the event, we managed to make it to the circus tent pretty early, or late, I couldn't tell because it was getting late and there was barely any fucking people there. There was a few besides the six of us, the ticket taker and whoever was in the damn tent, but that's not important. But, that ticket taker bastard was way too happy to be there and was, for some fucking reason, dressed up as a vampire and it was unsettlingly realistic. I kind of thought he was one at first...and I still kinda do.

He told us that we can get a bag of free animal crackers for each ticket bought in advance. So we handed him the tickets, he told us that he'll "be back in a sec!" and ran inside the tent. A few minutes passed before he came back with six bags of animal crackers and handed them to us. I felt like something was off about these crackers, they looked like, well, animal crackers. But there was animals I've never seen as crackers, like a rabbit or hamster and the taste was sweeter than the original. I'm not entirely sure if anyone else ate one, I know Ned and I ate one.

I guess he likes them, I don't know, he's hard to read at times, I tried them out of curiosity. Then, all of a sudden, I have turned into a fucking lion! I was scared and confuse- well, more scared than confused, so I looked around and saw a giant rabbit, comparing to normal rabbits and hares. While I was picking it up, I realized it was Ned and screamed, he screamed as well realizing that I was a damn lion. During this shitty situation, that vampire bastrad came over asking what's going on. Belgium, being the sweet person that she is, explains to him the situation and is then handed a few crackers from him and was told that, "these crackers will change them back," and walked back to the tent.

Belgium came up to us, explained these crackers and made us eat it. Literally, she shoved it in my mouth and forced me to eat the damn cracker. I'm happy she did that because we turned back, and left that place as fast as we physically can. I hope something like that NEVER happens again, it was horrifying.

I swear, I'm never going to get all the cat hair out of my damn clothes.

  At the end of an exotic aquarium museum tour, our tour guide, Jacob, showed us these octopus-like creatures that the museum dubbed as Octels. If the tentacles wasn't creepy enough, they looked just like me and the Dane! (How they were able to catch one of them still fucking confuses me.) But Denmark thought they looked amazing and was definitely worth the tour. Pfft- The geckos were so much better than these creepy fucks, and they are much more appealing. I mean, they can walk up walls with their feetpad-magnet-things, plus they are by far the most appealing lizard out there.

Oh shit I can't believe I fucking-

This particular piece not only made my art program crash multiple times, but the autosave feature stopped working halfway through without my knowledge and I had to redo the coloring process. Then I almost lost that during the shading process- This would've been done two days ago if this shit didn't get in the way. Along with my constant impulse to draw random South Park characters.

Besides that, I do like how this turned out, and it gave me a chance/excuse to draw my currently developing creatures. I love drawing them and coming up with new designs and creature combinations. Also, hope you don't mind if I start doing the @hetaliamondaychallenge challenges to help me come up with a scenario for the other dares.😅

Day 6 (Sat 8 August) – Vampire AU // Blind Date

(((Again, it’s not long, but I thought it would be necessary to add the Keep Reading. )))

This wasn’t what I originally wanted to do for this day because I had a different picture planed for it. But I stopped working on it for a day or two, then came back to it last night, looked at it, and thought it looks like shit. So, I scrapped it. I’m, also, not doing Day 7, I said I would if I had a plan in mind and time to do so. But since I had to redo this day’s entire picture, I, simply, did not have time nor have it planned out. Not gonna lie though, this week was pretty fun.

Now I can start working on the assortment of dares I got during this week! ((There’s quite a few and some of them are really interesting!))

Day 2 (Tue 4 August) - Sharing an Umbrella // Pirate AU

(((It’s not long, but I felt like it was necessary)))

Or at least it would be, until I got the idea of Prussia trying to pet a goose and getting bitten in that process so that kind of took over. But I like twisting prompts a bit and coming up with ideas to make it, not only fun to make, but it also makes the finished product interesting to look at. So I just ran with it.

I only picked out two days about I know I would be working myself sleep deprived if I do.(learned that lesson during the Valentine’s Day event early this year.) So I decided to do Day 2(This) and Day 6 which is currently in the late stages of being finished, and maybe if I get that done earlier than expected I might do Day 7, just need to think of something fast if that becomes the case.

Small Update!

I posted this on my main blog, but I decided to mention it on here because well...this is my main Hetalia blog sooo.

Here’s the blog post for context, but I’ll be talking a bit more about it below, it involves an event I'm participating in.

I honestly thought the pen would be here after Prumano Week, which meant that I would be stuck using my phone for a little bit longer than I wanted. But since it’s here early, I can use my tablet for the event!( if you’re curious, it’s a Huion Inspiroy Dial and I use the art program Krita.) 

Also, not to mention the timing, damn it only took...two-three days.. maybe sooner? I don’t know, but it was extremely fast and I’m glad it was.

A tip for your art, would be to use "lighter colors" 😉 ... What about... Romano and Portugal?

I missed a great opportunity to draw Portugal how I would normally draw these, because I do little test sketches of characters I haven't drawn yet and the sketch came out pretty good. But I replaced it with an opportunity to showcase one of my favorite art style, which be South Park, this style is so much fun for me for the fact that it gives me a bit of anatomic freedom and is pretty cartoony.

I usually don’t show the test sketches I do, but I’m making an exception for this and one of my future posts on my other blog, just because I kind of regret not using my main art style for this. (In the sketch/line-art for the finished artwork, Port was supposed to have some type of flower in his hand. But as you can see, that got changed halfway through the process ^^')

Also, I don't know if anyone can/could tell but, I do have little stories for each dare I do. If it is the same ship, I try to have the story continue slightly from the last dare including it. The stories, unless stated, are usually up for interpretation, and I try to make it somewhat obvious but I feel like it gets lost if I don’t explain.. then there are artworks that are made with now story because I got bored and wanted to draw something at the moment. This one does have a little bit of a story, it takes place after a world meeting, Romano was walking home when it started to rain, and Port offered some safety from such rain.

One more thing! Any dares sent in during the rest of this week and during next week will be put on hold. I will be participating in Prumano Week and I want to focus as much as I can on that. I already know what days I’m doing and I need to start drawing some concepts, test sketches and color-

I’ll shut it for now until next week, just saying its gonna be on hell of a ride for me!
