Passing time with Stella and Anders. She’s such a tiny thing, but she still looks too tall in the picture. Let’s pretend she’s wearing heals and that she’s standing on a step (I’ve always pictured Anders as lean and tall)

Anders always calls her “Doll” because she really looks like one but also as a joke because her personality is the complete opposite of what we could expect of a pretty doll. That look is just her default mood, the kind of look that seems to say “Come closer and you’ll regret it”. 

The scene takes place during Inquisition, a few years after Stella found Anders, making sure he was safe and sound after Kirkwall. But she never left him.
