At the last minute, I was so stressed out about the background, with twenty layers of filters and textures, just to make it look right. But a gradient map was the best filter
Remlin There was a layer of dust on my tablet, I'm so good, it's embarrassing. I need to draw at least a little, at least sometimes.
I found a photo of a summer bouquet of wildflowers and other flowers online, and I thought about making something similar, but for winter
This was supposed to be a sketch for an hour, but I'm telling you in advance that it will be polished like a full-length one
I can't decide whether to make shading a permanent feature or just for sketches.
I just looked at the number of drawings I made last year. It's awful, I've gotten so lazy, and this year I'm afraid it will be even less. School is getting in the way.
Commission. I struggled a bit with the lighting. I probably should have added more darkness, but that can be attributed to the full moon. The balconies in the background are a bit fragile.
Commission. I rarely draw children, to be honest I don’t remember the last time I drew them
idk what to say :3
Kanamexzero forever!!!
Commissioned. A nurse from World War I. Finally made full use of the saved textures х)
Commission. Well, I'm not entirely satisfied, but I tried really hard. I rarely draw cities, so I was really slow on the background. I also mixed up the hands holding the violin and had to redraw the linework. In short, the work was quite draining.
A little late. I celebrated the New Year alone, with tangerines and YouTube :3
For some reason, I caught the vibe of Warrior Cats. I really wanted to read them once, but I got stuck on the colorful horses and the magic of friendship.
The client's character has nothing to do with the book (I think).
Commission. She has an injured right arm*
I once considered working in the medical field, but to be honest, not for long. I find biology very interesting, as are other natural sciences, but I realized I don't really want to treat people. I have exams this academic year, so maybe I'll try to become a prosthetic engineer or a lab technician. I just need to get the required scores for admission :_
A difficult life dilemma. Should I prioritize drawing, with the intention of eventually becoming self-employed and taking commissions (but for that I need to build up my social media presence, and I'm not good at that), while quietly and somehow managing my studies? Or should I prioritize my studies, so I can graduate in a field I'm interested in and try to work in that field, while occasionally taking commissions?
Or should I continue to do both things half-heartedly? I don't know🌸
Instead of doing something useful, I got hooked on Rick and Morty. I was hoping I could watch it in the background while drawing, but it turned out to be too interesting for that. I don't even know if I'm happy or disappointed. I'm happy with the brushes in Krita, they imitate watercolor perfectly
Artmoots on tumblr and other socials anyone ?

Very cute!! The dynamics in art that I dream of
Commission sketch
Forest backgrounds are probably the simplest.
The last two images were just meant to show how the gradient map enhanced the atmosphere. At least it's clear that the art is morning, not daytime. Maybe someday I'll be able to pick the right colors on the fly without any tools, but that's a long way off
