Weiss blushed as Blake stepped forward and offered her hand to Weiss. Weiss had been watching her all night, so that was probably a reason why Blake came over.
Blake was dressed handsomely in a fine three piece suit. Her fair was tied back, letting her eyes shine on her face. She was so⊠confident. So charming. So⊠good-looking.
And as Weiss accepted the dance, she learned Blake was quite the dancer. And conversationalist. Even a flirt.
âThe mask hides your face, but not your beauty, my snow queen,â Blake whispered. Weiss blushed. Her mouth hung open.
âYou are too kind⊠Miss Belladonna,â Weiss said. She expected that was going to off-balance Blake. But it didnât. Blake just moved in closer.
âYou recognize me?â Blake asked. âI must have left quite the impression.â
Weiss tried to calm down. It wasnât working. Blakeâs hand were warm and soft and inviting.
Weiss kept glancing at Blakeâs lips. She realized what she was doing.
âYou are welcome to a kiss,â Blake offered. âIf Iâve stolen your heart.â
It shouldnât have worked on her. If someone like Jaune or Neptune had used it, sheâd be angry. Blake was a thief. She stole Weissâs tongue and common sense.
âYou are bold,â Weiss said.
âOh, I can be. By the way⊠Iâll find you again later tonight. In private.â
Blake was so bold. But that made Weiss want her even more. The song ended, and Blake left her behind, with a bow, and a kiss to her hand.
Her skin tingled where Blake had kissed it.
Her heart⊠Weiss didnât want to think about it.
Blake was gone, and Weiss left to get a drink. It wasnât until after her second drink (non-alcoholic, they didnât want to get the guests drunk yet) that her pocket felt⊠lighter.
She reached in and felt her wallet was missing⊠and in its place was a note. With Blakeâs number.
