Hylid Tree Frogs (Genus Dryophytes), juveniles, taken June 20, 2026, in Georgia, US
A few young tree frogs scattered throughout the woods, resting in leaves until nightfall. The tadpoles have finally gotten large enough for froglets to appear, and it seems that the tree frogs have had the most success so far! When they're so young, tree frog froglets can be very hard to differentiate, and there are always several species calling in this area, so I don't want to assume. Regardless of their species, these guys are adorable!!
