Is it possible if you could tell us where we can find a png of the seal from the title screen of PSOBB? The one as your tattoo. I was interested in getting one myself and yours is so inspiring to see

If you do plan on getting it some things I wanna mention with the tattoo; the artist shouldn't have had me lay down to do it, since boobie isn't immune to gravity and they differ greatly based on body weight. He did try to talk me out of getting it where I got it but I was an annoying and stupid client. Other tattoo artists can tell I got the tattoo laying down as opposed to sitting up.
Make sure you get it big though like probably bigger than mine and with a super fine needle and keep sunscreen on it if you're outside (I didnt, like an idiot) Here's the quality difference of mine;

Granted I also lost 80 pounds over the years then gained it all back this year, so my skin has suffered greatly but its pretty smushed together now, some ink fell out, and the geometric aspect is now pretty skewed. (I tried to position myself so it presents as evenly as possible while also maintaining the original pose, but i can tell my shoulder is pulled back)

The rotating bits I think. So the entire seal itself rotates in use, but the highlighted parts rotate differently. In a seal, this would mean these are the roots for power/energy/magic to be created. The phrase āI wish it at an alliance from several years agoā can be considered an āinvocation chantā. The planets are the natural (you could even say natal HEH) source of power this magic would take from, which is why they are also rotating.
Also note the planets with the rule of 3 in the seal. Yes thereās the 3 planets but looking across the seal those planets are in line with 2 more circles. This signifies the structure and how I came to the conclusion the Algolian seal is based off a Hexagram seal, as shown in the Lesser Key of Solomon. And now we know this is based of Abrahamic religions.
However, when it comes to the general magic premise of Phantasy Star, I believe they took a more Hermetic approach to it based on the use of Zodiac symbols on Falzās arena, the use of planets as power, mention of reincarnation in seals, and how they mention āCrowleyā in PSP2I. (but we arenāt in that universe yet. Go ahead and google āCrowleyā tho youāll find him.) Hermetics also largely deal with Theurgy, which is what magic circles would be used in. (Theurgy is working with Divine through ritual, invocation or envocation, and can even get into possession. The ultimate goal in Theurgy is to unite with the Divine)Ā But, alchemy is huge in Hermeticism, and I do feel there is a lack of alchemy references. Unless Iām missing them but Iāve been really going out of my way. It could be on a science level beyond my understanding, and relevant to Photon energy. Dr. Montague using corrupt Photon energy from monsters to make weapons is something Iāve considered, but Iād also like to know more about Dr. Osto and his experiments. Thereās also, you know, the whole turning things into things using things which is a totally valid point but maybe I wanna know the howās and whyās to that too ok.
ALRIGHT so now that its been two years, I still stand by the Hermetic approach, since Hermeticism applies different religions to their Theurgy, as well as Alchemy and Astrology (but I still donāt have much explanation to the Zodiac signs on the Falz seal)

Since I didnāt have much on it before, alchemy is given to us in many forms. From Montagueās end the main use of it went into making Mags. To summarize the image text; Mags are artificial intelligence armor units made (mainly) by Dr. Montague from D-Cells, that summon the Great Light. D-Cells come from Falz, a divine (evil) entity.

Examples: Light/Dark, Yin/Yang, pure/evil, magnets. Concept of duality.
Dark can make light as theyāre both ādivineā elements, two sides of the same coin.
The emotional AI was likely created as a way to transmute the element of dark to light, following belief of mankind being inherently āgoodā.
The mirages Mags give us are based on ancient creatures from Coral, which were not affected by D-Factor until the asteroid came to Coral and the abnormal photons were discovered, which ultimately lead them to Ragol in the first place. I believe Photon Mirages are what a D-Cell contaminated version of those ancient creatures would look like.
We watch as Ult, whoās AI was not complete, is taken over by D-Factor. Similar to Vol Opt attacking the hunters, and Calus leading Elly to likely be used as a host. However, Elenor is not affected, like our mags, because Eleanor is literally the Mother Mag.
Elenor possesses a super-powered emotional AI, unlike that of her prototype/big sister Ult, and has more emotion than both Shino and Kireek. Kireek himself becomes corrupted by D-Cells. (Iāll need to properly navigate the story missions for examples)
